Default UDK Crashes "Ran out of Video Memory"

When ever I load the Editor it crashes saying "Ran out of video memory", when I open the 64-bit of the game as well it crashes.

However when I open the 32 bit of the game it doesn't crash, but I can't see any 32-bit of the Editor.

    What is my error?

    My CP Specs
    64 Bit - Windows 7
    Intel Core 2 Quad Core CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series (It's the 1GB or 2GB Version)
    4GB RAM

All drivers are up to date.
    Registry all fixed.
Latest versions of Windows 7 updates.
    DirectX9.

    What's my problem?

I'm having the exact same problem. It happens when I build my map. I have everything on my computer closed but still. System specs are 4gb ram and 4ghz intel core.

well, sometimes it helps to read the errors

"[0065.50] Error: Error: Unable to either create the checkpoint file or write data to the file on disk. Please make sure the file is writable"

I would try starting it as administrator

I have tried running as admin, I looked in the log file and saw this
[0056.34] SourceControl: Source Control disabled in UDKEditorUserSettings.ini. [SourceControl] has Disabled=True
[0065.50] Error: Error: Unable to either create the checkpoint file or write data to the file on disk. Please make sure the file is writable.

    Checkpoint file name: ..\..\UDKGame\Content\GameAssetDatabase.checkpoint

I then set it to False, it worked for a while longer, but then after around 5 minutes it crashes with a windows error saying the application is trying to read something it does not have access to. I run as admin, I am the admin to my computer anyway.

I'm really confused? I have tried fresh installs.

It's saved in desktop, but that's for the try anyway. (:
