    Default Corrugated Weapons

My name is Matt, I work with corrugated everyday and decided one day it would be fun to make the gears of war weapons out of corrugated. So here is a couple pictures of some weapons I have been working on, Hope you guys enjoy!

My dog Carmine, and the retro Lancer

You've the image for Sawed-Off below where it says Gnasher. Great models though, and cool name for a dog

**Cog Tag** still can't edit. I try to do as much detail without making it hard to cut on the table.

Let me know as soon as they are ready, also, do you have a write up anywhere about how you created them?

Alirght finally got some time to take a couple pictures.

This is a top view of the gnasher to see the depth and thicknes of them.

Here is a picture of the pieces how they come of the table, then I assemble them.
    http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...4-18075346.jpg

    All weapons are to scale!

The way I go about making them is pretty simple with the help of a couple programs and some generous people and the 405thinfantry supply 3d Models.

I start with a 3d model and convert tthe model into a usuable file in Google sketch up. The use a plug in called slicer to make the correct size pieces the same thickned of the corrugated I would use.
After that is done, because i do not have the full version of google sketch up I set the view to perfectly flat on the X or Y axis to see the pieces perfectly flat with no Z axis. Then export them go to print and save them as a PDF. From there I go about taking the file into a Vector editor such as Illustrator or Inkscape to clean up some little things that may cause problems on th CAD Table. Then export that into DXf and send to myself at work and use a corrugated packaging software called Artios and make sure they are all complete and clean looking to make for easy cutting. Then I lay them out in Artios how they lay ontop of each other and and holes to line eveything up. After all that I cut the pieces out of double wall corrugated to make them strong and that is the stage they are at as of now.

sorry for delayed response, very busy work week!

also I gave my Retro lancer to my brother out of state so couldn't get anymore pictures of that one That one is my favorite.

The best thing about this is that you dog's name is Carmine. How cool is that?
