Default Gears 3 (Games on Demand) Tech. Error

UPDATE: Apparently if you eject the tray with the disc & re-close it, it will stop making the disc spin.

A VIDEO DESCRIBING THE ISSUE POSTED BELOW:

This is an error I have been experiencing with Gears of War 3 purchased on Games on Demand (being played off the hard drive with no disc required). The issue is that if there is another disc in the tray, it will start spinning as if Gears of War 3 is trying to read the disc.

This is the only "GoD" title I own that has this issue, others work without a problem.

I deleted the cache on the hard drive, which worked once. But once I turned off the Xbox, and played the game later on, the issue came back!

I was wondering if other people have been experiencing this issue, and whether or not someone might see this and forward it to the Xbox Live Marketplace crew for a possible patch.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the obvious, but that defeats the point of being convenient, & being able to switch in & out of games easily.

    *BUMP*

Anyone have any issues with this as well, and/or possible fixes?

WOW. I called Xbox Support about this issue, they issued the following:

    1) - Reset the cache on your 360 HDD 3 times.
    2) - Turn off the 360 for 5 full minutes w/ the power cable unplugged from the console
    3) - Move all related files except for the game off the 360
    4) - Delete the GoD version of GoW3
    5) - Redownload game.

Basically, it worked the first time as soon as the download finished. But when I turned the console off & booted it up again, back to the same old issue.

In fact, all I had to do was steps 1 & 2, and I got the same result! It only "works as it should" on the initial "clean" bootup. But once you restart the 360, the issue reappears.

Its trite I know, but it's a pain to hear a disc spin when its not needed & it heats up my room more.

I KNOW I can take out the disc, but the whole point of having a "Games on DEMAND" is for convenience, in order to swap to GoW3 w/ as few steps as possible.
