    I respect Epic's decision to do a blind test and not inform us of changes for an 'experiment', but I hope they learned it's best to leave things as they are once it "works". I encourage Epic to focus aspects of the game other than weapon balances. The game is very solid the way it is now in that regard.

    On that note, anyone think Mulcher>Scorcher on Checkout would be interesting considering the recent buffs?

    Might work, anything would be better than the Mulcher really. I don't think I've EVER seen anyone pick it up and use it in Ranked/Quick.

    I'd be all for trying it out anyway, the Scorcher is definitely worth grabbing as a power weapon now.

    the scorcher would be the only appropriate sub for the mulcher on checkout imo.....but then again idk if i want another power weapon in that small map. I think people would just pick it up and camp the back area of the electronics and 1 second down who ever walks in there.

    I would like to know all the current XP ratios as well...
    Also, Gorgon definitely needs a damage and ammo buff.

    I pointed the fact that they'd changed out to the guy who made the XP calculator, and I'm going to test them today myself.

    Wait I thought they said that the stopping power taken out from the hammerburst and retro was a glitch that happened when fenix rising map pack came out. Can anyone enlighten me about this?

    Though I haven't read through the entire thread, I see above that the Gnasher wasn't buffed. Sure feels like the effective range was increased at least, both on the giving and receiving end.

    But that's not what I'd like to ask. Was the Sawed-Off shotgun nerfed? It feels like I have to be right on top of an enemy for it to be effective at all and that wasn't the case before.

    It was nerfed back in October (the 10th iirc). Since then nothing has been changed on it that we've been made aware of. I haven't noticed a change.

    I wanted to update the XP current for Wingman mode. Right now I only have Quick match ratio.. I will update Ranked in a few.

    Wingman QM = 1.72

    Wingman Ranked = 2.069(2.07)

    Here's roughly how it works:

    You play KoTH and your score is 1000 points at the end of the match. (That's low, I know)

    In the detailed summary, your score would be 562 in the "Match Score" column if you were playing Quick and 675 if you were playing Ranked.

    That will be added to by points from ribbons, getting the win, etc. But your raw match score is (Score on scoreboard x XP Ratio)

    Make more sense now?

    I rarely ever post on the forums, but there's really only one weapon tweak that I've wanted since they day the game came out, and that is:

    Reduce boomshot ammo from three shots to two shots on non-respawn gametypes (exec/warz). This alone would really increase my enjoyment of the game. Two shots is perfect to balance the power of the weapon in non-respawn games. If it was harder to use and get kills (like the digger) then three shots would be fine, but the opposite is true. I thought epic realized this in Gears 2 when they changed it from three to two. I don't understand why it was switched back to three shots after the feedback from gears 2....

    Gnashes you should note XP updates too. I saw today's date and thought it was swaps/weapons when you just update the XP. Put a note thats says something like last XP update 2/19 or something.

    hey on Gridlock why is it only Longshot up top it should alternate with Torque Bow like it use to? my friends and i dont even try for the Longshot on Boomshot round because its unimportant if it was torque bow we would definitly fight for that. also on Escalation there should be a Torque Bow or long shot at the top of the map since there is already two at the bottom would def balence out that map alittle more in my opinon

    Gridlock is set that way to reflect classic settings.

    Escalation is pretty well balanced, or at least as balanced as it can be. The team on top has height advantage which when coupled with rifles is a BIG advantage to teams.
    (I personally despise the map for MP, I'm not sure any changes could make it better)

    So there is no chance with getting public weapon rotation on Gridlock Longshot>Torque bow?
    yea i understand with Escalation i personally love that map just seems i run into to many good snipers on the other teams lol guess ill just keep my head down more lol
