It's very nice! Do you mind if it goes in The Art Bar as well? There's something about the look in Krall's face which is quite amusing.

When it comes to The Soul Killers, I'd say Krall and Torgr are the hardest to draw. Krall because of his mixed breeding, and Torgr because... well, "Wimpy Locust" must be a bit hard to imagine.
I see Torgr as rather skinny and lithe for a drone, which technically would make others view him as weak.

Well I hope I did alright, I've been drawing Predators and Xenomorphs all week xD And working on another comic for DeviantArt and wheeee, been busy. I'll be getting back to the Skorge origins story soon, and would love to do something for the SK collection! Just not sure what yet xD

Overall, you sound quite busy! Though I'm sure some SK inspiration will strike.

    Cool

I love drawing Predator's and Aliens, I did a mock movie poster for AVP about a year ago, came out alright...

He was essentially the "B.Carmine" of The Soul Killers, perhaps a bit more weedy.

    Heeeeyy!

    That's my line.

    Mallock, Sauvix is especially cool.

But, I like them all. Yours too Frag, like Mall said, your sense of storytelling and unique style makes your art stand out.

Now, if only I can learn Jays secret, how exactly does he attract so many talented people to collaborate on his creations? Is it SAS shark magic of some kind? Or perhaps his knowledge of obscure videogames? His enigmatic, esoteric nature? His deep voice? I dunno!

Pleased that Sauvix got some attention?

As for my secrets, who knows? It could be any of those. My odd references and knowledge of obscure video games and TV shows are interesting, but maybe it's the more esoteric side of me that makes people think, "This guy is different, I want to know more!" or both of them? (With Shark knowledge and being a "sneaky English man" as well)

Though I have been told I sound like a Radio DJ once, and I've been said to sound about 33 as well.

Yeah, it's about time Sauvix got some recognition.

By the way, has Mallock drawn Hakar at all? I was thinking maybe my SK short needs a banner. So if Mallock was cool with it I was thinking of maybe using a Hakar and Sauvix sketch? Nothing fancy, but it would still be interesting.

You know what I think Jay?... I think it's the hat, that's the secret.

Wait.. what about Sauvix AND the hat?

If you look in the "Art Bar" Mallock drew one I call "Summer Hakar". I call him that because it looks like the armour Hakar would don for Sera's upcoming Summer. I don't think it'd be good for a banner, however.

Every page in this thread that I just read is full of winly awesome.

    Mallock, high-fives.

However, I drew Zaach pretty much the way a Drone would appear, albeit with some tiny differences that might be a little hard to spot. It's really just parts of the armor that Mallock drew that I'm using in this piece. I fashioned some cool shoulder pieces and forearm armor (bracers?).

...I want to be able to draw like Mallock. SOOOOO bad.

Yeah, I guess that Hakar might not work. I'd probably have to do my own "crazy" interpretation, sort of Mike Mignola meets the Soul Killers.

EDIT: Got ninja'ed... a bunch of times!

Thanks Mallock, it's just an idea right now so I'm not exactly sure what I'm gonna do, or what I might need.

Drawing some moar Zaach right now. He's making the meatshield a fashion statement and he's accessorizing it with his GUN.

    Oh god, is that drool!?

    Nice frigging work there, Mall!
I'll check in every now and again but for the most part, I won't be as active as I was previously. It really was the Gears + people that got me posting on here in the first place. Unless Epic release an awesome game or something. I'm leaving this message because I'm obviously a very, very important person.

Hope to see a lot of you on the BT Forums! - 11/02/2014 (lol)

Creator of Hellboy, among other stuff. He has a really unique and fascinating style of art. I just remember someone showing me some of his books one day and I thought, "Woah... that's different, who's this guy?"

    Ah, Hellboy.

I remember the possibility of Ron Perlman (Hellboy in the movies) voice Thundercracker in War for Cybertron, though the role was given to Graham McTavish (Scottish Actor, played Warden Ackermann in Red Dwarf, Season 8)

I loved the Atlantis movie. I won't lie, I watched it six times in one day.

Treasure Planet was also very good.

And so is Mike Mignola. He's the TF2 Scout's unlockable bat.

Moment from The Dead Will Rise: Chapter 2: "Tame the Beast"

“This meeting must be important, the queen never leaves the palace, she always gets the meetings to come to her.” Zaach pointed out. “We better let her know of Krall’s findings.”

“I’m just glad we didn’t meet the Leviathan!” Torgr gulped, Zaach turned to him with a curious smile on his face.

“What? You actually believe in that story?” Zaach asked amusingly.

“Well how else do you explain all those missing Gunboats?” Torgr asked. “They go out on patrol down the river… but never come back! The Leviathan gets them!”

“Pfft, Leviathan!” Mocked Braahk. “I bet I crush it with one hand!”
Dunno why, just wanted to share that moment.

It may well end up that way. Speaking of which, I'm still only halfway through Traitor General.

So, who would like to hear an outline for Survival's next chapter?

The idea is Hakar has another dream, which points him to a "Dark Abomination" that must be destroyed. Hakar gathers up his troops and follows the dreams "directions" to the place where this abomination is kept. However, they run into a squad of Cyron troopers. Who just happen to be looking for the same place...

And for Boss, a Hakar/Sauvix banter moment. Haven't quite got the wording right yet, but:

Sauvix: "Do you even know what you're doing?"

Hakar: "Yes, I do know, now help!"

Sauvix: "Do you expect me to have faith in you because of a dream?"

Hakar: "Do you ever have faith in me?"

    * Awkward Pause*

    Sauvix: "...No"

Sounds interesting and I'm sure the read will be worth while... but as for making your banter moment flow nicely... try this?

    Maybe like this?

Sauvix: "You place faith in premonitions?"
Hakar: "The fallen did not embrace faith."
Sauvix: "Do you expect me to have faith in you because of a dream?"
Hakar: "Do you ever have faith in me?"

    * Awkward Pause*

    Sauvix: "...No"

The Big Battle is for later, for this chapter, I'm looking a a Firefight, perhaps a big Skirmish.

Though some nasty Robots show up. Also, I think I got a (Somewhat) good telephone conversation between Cyron and someone.
