    Default Please enable Direct3D acceleration. IT IS !!!

    I can play unreal, I can play unreal tournanemt. I get this error message when I start unreal 2 or unreal tournament 2004. I have the latest driver on my video card. Can any one help? Please...


    Please enable Direct3D acceleration. You can do this by starting dxdiag and enabling Direct3D Acceleration in the Display1/2 tab after installing DirectX 8.1b (or later) and the latest drivers for your graphics card.

    That's strange, it says that it DOES detect the adapters... Are your graphics card drivers up to date?

    Hmm... What OS are you using? The log says "Microsoft Windows NT 6.0", I assume that's Vista?

    No idea, don't have Vista myself, but it seems that older games don't like Vista too much. Did you try Compatibility Mode?

    Yes, I have. I was thinking of updating my BIOS. I have found several newer versions. If update to the newest, will all of the previous versions be included? Thank you for your help.

    No, it will just be updated. Patches don't mean a brand new BIOS, they mean only bug fixes.
