    Important! Please Read: Due to a few issues of the 4th "SSP" ('SpecialSkaarjPack'), a new update was just added to fix those issues. For any whom have already downloaded the (4th) SSP, it is recommended that you re-download this file for a quick fix. All you need to do is replace your 'specialskaarjpackv4(.u) file. So this is just a quick repair for those who already installed the (4th) SSP. Any oof you that are just downloading the 4th edition for the first time can just read the 'readme' and put all files to their regular destination. Thank you.

    Compatibility: UT2004 and Satore Monster Pack (v120 recommended)
    Description: 4th installment of the Special Skaarj Pack
    Comments: Fixed 'WoE' Error

    New Monster Bios:

    GayLord- A colorfully gay WarLord that thinks life is totally "SUPER"!!!! Shoots rainbow colored missiles that gays its enemies up. (Gay sounds hopefully coming soon.)

    Slug- A full grown Slith. Now they're capable of shooting large bio globs that can sometimes bounce up to 3 times before dispersing.

    Fix and changes for V4 (Latest)
    -------------------------------------------
    1.) Decreased EliteBountyHunter and BountyHunter's missile sized

    2.) Added effects to Fire, Ice and Anti-Skaarj.

    3.) Lessened the Damage per second of Anti-Skaarj's void.

    4.) Anti-Skaarj can fly.

    5.) Hopefully fix fireskaarj's emitter error on dedicated servers. (Not totally sure)

    6.) Added 2 new monsters to the list.

    7.) Kraken's Animation bug might be fixed. (Not totally sure)

    8.) Increased Kraken's health.

    9.) DarkLord Doesn't shoot Emperor's projectile anymore; neither does the BountyHunter.

    10.) Changed DarkLord's and AntiSkaarj's 'DeRes' skin. (The skin that shows up when the monster is dead.)

    11.) Revised the Dragonfly's flame attack. (Shorter-ranged torch effect)

    12.) Modified both the Kraken's and Crystalis' projectile firing codes. (Shoots one projectile more than other.)

    13.) Changed Emperor's shield color.

    Yup I have been. I wanted to get the GayLord out to claim it 'something I created' before someone else did. Oh yeah. I fixed to link and updated the 'readme' file so u should be able to go.

    I got this error when i tried to run a server as well. It looks like it missing this file.

    Okay guys I just tweaked the file and the link on the post that starts this thread. The problem now should be fixed and u guys should be okay when you redownload the .zip file. Good Luck.

    Good. Now that I got that fixed I can move on. One thing I have been noticing is that people are not using the 'Chrystalis' nor the 'Golem'. It is a shame because I thought they would gain popularity.

    Well we have loaded version 4 up on our test server yesterday but only got a few minutes to take a look at it. One of our other Admins configured it and made wave 1 all "GayLords" so that we could get an immediate "feel" for it!

    We have not put these up on our Headboard RPG Invasion server yet but it is configured for version 3 and everyone does seem to like them very much. Currently we are setup for 16 waves and just had a reset a little over a week ago. We use Satore and Druids as our main items with lots of terrific monsters, weapons and configs worked in all over the place.

    I can say that we have ALL of the version 3 monsters spread throughout the 16 waves, especially the upper levels. So, we do have the Chrystalis and the Golem!

    Extend an invitation to anyone to come stop by and have some fun with them. Thanks again!

    I was on your server, and one thing I think u should do to gain popularity is update your rpg version. Just a suggestion. Btw. I can't find the server with the ip, 8.9.9.5:7777. ???

    As for the RPG version???? Don't think there is a later version of these? Which one are you referring to?

    Yeah the druid one with the the classes like weapons, adren, medic/monster maker, and sometimes the vehicle class.

    Ah yes.. I understand. We are actually running The Druids 2.0. I know that different people have asked for it but we have decided against the classes running on the server. Sorry to dissappoint. We have tested it serveral times and in general it is just not as popular with the group.

    I know... lots of people really like them. Our decision has always been based on several different things. We don't include the monster class at all because in Invasion, the personal monsters were confusing and got in the way. The other classes just limited too much what our players liked to do. If you buy weapons master, there are alot of items that you can't purchase and vice-versa. We reset much more frequently that alot of servers do but we still like the flexibility of purchasing whatever you want out of the list and playing the game based upon the players who are there, what weapons they get, what they can share, etc... We also like to set the points per level fairly high and based up the typical duration of a cycle before a reset... what we have configured gives you just about enough things to buy and still make it a challenge.

    Nothing greatly against I guess. Just our preference. We like to focus on the monsters and other items to mix things up a bit. The ones you have added are just terrrific.

    Have it on there now! Just finished playing several maps with version 4. Looks pretty good. The bugs are maybe a little too wimpy now though. The flame throwers were pretty intense before but that was kind of fun. Need to play it a few more times though to make any other comparisons.

    Can you make the torch a little more like "flame thrower"? Right now it doesn't reach out very far. It is not quite so intimidating as it was in version 3. I am being picky here but couple people have made the comment that they would like it to be stronger again.

    Hey Scorpion. I just changed the file. There were a few things I needed to quickly tweak and the updated file is in the first post of this thread. I even modified the 'dragonly's' flame to travel at a longer range. Since you already downloaded the SSPv4, all you need to do is replace your 'specialSkaarjPackv4(.u) file. The other files like 'texture and staticmesh' you do not need to worry about, it's just the .u file that needs to be changed. If you have questions or need help look at the first post starting this thread or just ask. Bye.

    I have just updated Dents in the Headboard server to Ver 4 will do a bit more testing and get back to you on the gaylord rocket trails and the Dragonfly's.

    We don't actually use Monster Manager on any of our servers. Have tried it a couple of times and have just gone back to the default that Satore and UT2004RPG uses.

    Smokey and I had talked about it briefly and wanted to at least put in the request for a configurable INI file to support the Skaarj versions. Obviously, the final decision is up to you. The INI would be the easiest way for the "end user" to set health and damage but certainly not the only way.

    I have one more request. Have played with the updated v4 and the bugs. I like the flame effect much better but it is really really killer right now. The bugs take me out on wave 2!

    The damage they do is pretty extreme but the "after burn" really knocks the health off the rest of the way. What is the damage set to currently? Can we get a medium between the last two?
