    I don't know what it is
    It's possible that the post-processing is causing it in some levels (I haven't looked at other levels).
    And to make matters worse it is not visible in the character-preview either.

    Although it does look like that white/bright colours are affected the most.
    ie : your 'white' mouse is almost a glowing bright spot. The other skin isn't even half as bright although his highlights suffer somewhat.

    Maybe there is something in the colours and materials used that makes them glow ?
    It may be somewhere in the teamskin-related materials.

    I have the post-processing set to 'extreme', returning to 'default' kind of solves by reducing the glow-effect significantly.

    I have it tested with post-processing set to intense, the glow with the white skin is really extreme! Could be something with the Material Base that i use, this Material tree has like 138 instructions and i cant make my own, again its something that is hardcoded. Or it could be something, like the not working emssive in a deathmatch, that is hardcoded with the factions.
    Again, have to hope that Epic makes custom factions possible!

    He's bright on my comp as well.

    But he's not so bright in the AI department

    Never saw a Tigerrabbit! Pinky and the Brain are cool but they dont really fit to the body!

    Because the style of the mickey mouse head is much too different for the body!
    If i would make some heads i only would make rodents in the style of the head i allready made, because that would fit good to the body and it would be a mutated rodents faction. Maybe i will do this, later.

    Can't we just create some heads and paste it on teh mouse body with bones assignements ?
    Its not that easy, i have to make a new high poly head sculpt, then i have to make the low poly head mesh or change the old, make the uvw, bake the normal map on it, make a new head texture and finally attach it to the bones with weights.

    A cat for hunting the mice would be cool but only with a mutated cat body.

    well the only thing that i notice is that the joints look overly boxey but i havent seen it in game so i may be off base with that. Is there any way to keep the tail from going into the ground when the model is standing still? Overall, though, I would say that this is a great model. This model is definitely going in the direction that I like custom models to go..that being animal humanoids. A lion or any number of other animals would be cool *hint hint*

    Didnt Epic release a program to build custom models/heads to the PS3? I was hoping if it wasnt too much trouble would you please be able to cook it over.. if not thats fine, but awesome modelling either way dude. Keep it up

    The model wasnt meant for the game, it wasnt easy to make the mouse fit to the krall skeleton so some areas could look a bit boxy. I have to make the tail a bit shorter. The original tail is much longer but i cant keep the tail from going in the ground.
    There a lot of animals that would be cool, but its a lot of work!

    I just read a post that just confirmed that there were problems with the editor and thats the reason why custom heads arent available. I thought they were cause of those models, but obviously they're generic. Sorry for the mixup (i think... unless they fixed this?)

    @davision: yea i really didn't mean to sound overly critical if i sounded like it. This, imho, is the most creative and probably the most detailed custom model out right now and as long as you continue to make ones of this quality then people will definitely keep downloading. I didn't think about the fitting to krall skeleton, but that makes since since it is so hard to do custom skeletons at this point and i completely understand the slight boxiness. The tail was a completely minor thing and i guess you would have to do a custom skeleton to get the collisions right. Also no rush on those other models at all. I'd rather you take a month or more of good work like this than just trying to fire out a bunch of animals or whatever else just to please the impatient.

    Edit: Also if you were doing an entire faction then it would be cool to give each different color eyes. Pertaining to the faction issue; I really like the cigar and carrot (tho i might make the one with the carrot have a slightly twisted jaw as if in mid chew so as to separate more from the look of the cigar), but i dont know if just that little difference is enough to make those two different members of a rat faction. I'm not sure if that is what you were planning or not, but im just throwing it out there.

    Edit: I looked at the screenshots again and it looks as if you did the different color eye thing already, but it is hard to tell if that is a switchable thing (which is what i was getting at), or those were just colors assigned based on team color.

    Are you really thinking that this will be a rat faction!? The first 2 are mice, white and brown. I know the difference between a mouse and rat is hard to tell but the head that im working on is a rabbit...long ears, big teeth, bulky cheeks...and a carrot, should be recognizable! So it will be a rodent faction!
    Im still working in symmetry, asymmetry stuff will be added later, the chewing twist is good idea but i have to make it also good looking for the cigar because it will be swichable with facemasks parts.
    The white mouse has in a deatchmach red eyes and the brown green eyes, i dont know yet what i will do for the rabbit.
    Maybe you should download the beta first!

    oh yeah,that new head model with the carrot looks sick,would be cool if you were able to have a smoke effect at the end of the carrot lol..or hey maybe even try a red glow effect on the end of the carrot as if he was smoking it.
