no more multiplayer ranked games

iv been playin ranked matches a lot an when iv been on it today there were no ranked matches to be found. have any other players had the same problem ?

I called Xbox Support earlier in the afternoon and the guy was a complete IDIOT... he said there was nothing wrong with xbox live and that it must be something to do with me.. he went through all that stuff like trying a different game and then blaming my isp... i must have been on the phone for about 45 minutes to an hour... To be honest, i don't think he knew and when he told me to hold, he says he checked with others but i dunno, especially when i hear that other people who have rang are being told other things!!!

He also said that it's Epic's problem because maybe they are updating something because of the new maps, but i don't see how they would be... they would do that BEFORE the new maps were released

Yes, I have. Everyone I did manage to play against have had the same problem. Must have tried a hundred times or so. No one seems to know why. Can't find anything on the epic website.

This is werid im getting the same thing. When I've been playing since the maps came out I noticed there were only like one or two games on the old maps. So when I searched a few times and found only one or two games both old I thought that they had it so that untill you download the new maps you wont see the servers. This is not true because by about the 7th time searching I saw a game for "Garden". Hopefully they get this fixed soon.

Same here, only showing up 1/2 games per amount of rounds with only 1 or 2 people in the room and the ping is bad on everyone of them. I went from 1 through to 19 and everything is the same.

just exit out of the menu, and go back to the very 1st screen...usually fixes it, or just restart the game.

10pm and in the UK it's very similar and it has been for most of the day.

A maximum of two games showing up in a search for ranked games, under normal circumstances I'd have a full screen of games to choose from.

It seems that loads of people are having this problem - seemly it all started around the time the new maps came out.

Its clearly not a question of rebooting your router, I've looked at loads of forums today trying to find out whats going on, noone knows a thing. It seems to be a ms problem, as other games (GRAW for example) are showing the same signs.

I couldnt find any word of this on the ms forum, alot of people think that they're aware of the problem but won't admit it, and will just try to fix quietly.

I think we all have to wait and see how things go. I've been able to access old and new maps, with only one or two hits per search - with better results when you specify the exact number of rounds.

I would hope that a statement is made soon clarifying the problem, but i won't hold by breath.

I don't think the new maps are causing this because I didn't get this problem yesterday or Thursday, just today. This morning I couldn't find any atches and now I can only find 2-3 matches.

I'm not sure what it is, but i hope it gets fixed soon. Any games you do find are lagged out so it has to just be the servers. I wish epic would step in and not keep us in the dark.

I've only been able to play one game today and that was at 8:30 AM...It's 6:24 PM right now. I find like one or two games with horrible lag and I can't even get in. Playing player matches would be a waste of time simply because it doesn't count towards your achievements.

It's happening to me too. It sucks. I don't see why Epic doesn't comment on the situation and let us know what is happening. Espcially since most of us just gave them 10 + extra dollars.

Yeah, I saw this tonight. I wanted to get a quick 5 round match in, but there were no matches found! WTF? This has NEVER happened to me. I searched for 5-13 round matches and found ONE match available. Now THAT is unbelievable. Glad to see I'm not the only one seeing this. Hopefully it gets fixed before I get home tonight...

It might be because of the spring dashboard update. They are implementing stuff on servers to get ready without taking things down.

Wow, could there be a worse time for this to happen? You act like it is their fault, and they wanted you to be mad, and waist ten dollars. Think of it from their perspective. All XBL games have a lot of problems/downtimes, and when new things come, such as Halo 2 maps, or GoW maps, they are sometimes down, or there is problems. (Not always with the map...just a quincidence.)

I know what the problem is................ EPIC sucks. They are ruin the meaning of LIVE. To get in a game with your friends and have fun and get your rank up ( in games like this) but no epic can't have that.

Like i said before, i rang M$ and the guy who i spoke to was a complete dumbass and he tried to make it out to be a problem with my end, which is stupid since it's happening around the world. He said that Xbox Live is absolutely fine and that it must be epic's problem, HOWEVER, someone on here said they rang M$ as well and the girl told him that there was unscheduled maintenance being done... now how come people, includin myself are being told different things... this is customer service at it's best apparently, which is ****house!!!

I think i might ring them again today and see if i get a different answer, and i'm not going thru their bullcrap questions again, i spent an hour on the phone with this douchebag and i didn't even get an answer, and Epic aren't coming here and giving any answers or apologies... This is my weekend and i was goin to play long sessions of Gears and now i can't and i'm stuck with my thumb up my ass thinking of stuff i can do WITHOUT spending money other than the 25 bucks i spent to get a bloody Points card and then soon after gettin the maps this **** happens...

All day Saturday I've had the problem, since I only just woke up dunno if its any diffrent.

All I know is when i'm on the main menu and click Verus, there is a ever so slight delay to get tot the XBL menu screen. Never had that before

Also, when it says "no games could be found, would you like to host one?"
Press A. Then, exit your game, and usually it will find games.

Hey everyone. I don't know what happened, but this morning(Sunday) I could find a whole list of matches. I'm in Ohio and around 7:00 I was finding more and more games. Praise the Lord!
