    Wink Enforcers2003 - Released!!

    Well, after a lot of work, I present you with a Christmas gift - the lovely old Enforcers!!

    Fully functional, as they should be - akimbo support, new model/textures/animations, all the works.

    Enforcers 2003 - Unreal Tournament 2003

    ------------------------------------------


    Version 1.

    Skin: Loric

    Two mutators - one to give you the enforcer when you spawn, the other to spawn with double enforcers instead of just one. Double enforcers are fully supported, altfire works as you'll remember, and the enforcer is a brand new model, complete with texture and animations.

    WEAPON
    ------

    The Liandri Enforcer was a favourite in the days of the old Tournament. The epitome of pistol manufacturing, it reeks of style and class - while powerful enough to cause a headache or two as well. The Enforcer is light enough to allow for two to be carried at once - perfect for when you just have to make the right impression. For those show-off moments, try to turn the gun sideways while shooting; that'll show them who's boss. Unlike previous builds the new Enforcer uses it's own ammo supply, instead of leeching of the Minigun.


    INSTALLATION
    ------------

    Enforcer.int --> ..\System
    Enforcer.u --> ..\System


    ISSUES
    ------

    In Bombing Run, you will get problems if you pick up the ball while carrying double enforcers - you won't get the ball launcher, won't be able to fire, won't be able to change your weapons. Sorry. I guess you'll just have to switch to another weapon before getting the ball

    Quite kickass. I wonder where ammo placement is, if it can no longer leech of of that of the mini? I guess I'll find out!

    I overwrote the old one on the ftp, so now it's working. Downloaded it myself to make sure! :up:

    just downloaded and tried it... seems like the bots don't use any other weapons now...

    but apart of that: GREAT MUTATOR!!! a must-have for every UT and UT2003 player!!!

    at first: your version is a lot better than the original IMO.

    second: after a restart of ut2003, the bots now use all weapons now... :up:

    when they are holding 2 how does it show up when you look at them since all weapons are held with 2 hands?

    Unless dodging, it shows one weapon going through the other - it's attached to the other hand. The way it has to be really, if you want to see 2 =) (and you do - that was something I hated in UT, not being able to tell)

    Of course, Enforcers2004 will be released sometime in the future, cos 2k4 will have akimbo anims

    well i like the guns and animations with the old enforcer sound.. When u use them they feel like they really pack a punch... But I do think they're too big and I woulda liked to have seen some hands holding the guns.. But good work still!

    That was one thing I hated about UT. Sure, everyone was human at the start.. but with other models/races, you still could see human hands :/

    The funniest was the Nali Warcow. It has hands in 1st person view but not in third! :bulb:

    Two things I want to complain about:

    1. You can┤t see the hands of the player holding the Enforcer(s). This was mentioned above but I agree to it.

    2. When you die with the Enforcer in your hand, they wont dissapear.
    If 'Weapon Stay' on: They just are there and wont go away, you can pick┤em up if you don┤t have┤em.
    If 'Weapon Stay' off: If you die with them in your hand, they┤ll respawn if you pick┤em up.

    Any ideas how to fix it?

    Well, to be honest, I don't think there's any chance of this (sorry). I just think it's kind of stupid, to be
    a) Seeing a hand model that is quite probably nothing like your current player model
    b) Seeing a hand model for one weapon, but not for any others =)

    1. The hand idea is an idea so it┤s ok to me if it┤d look ugly.

    i love the enforcers, but the alternate fire is much stronger then primary fire mode, This wasnt so in ut1....

    change this

    I think the alternative fire is fine to me. But I think you shouldn┤t listen to me since I┤m using UT2003 RPG, with 9700% in Damage and 800% in ShootSpeed.
