    I suggest notepad++. You can find files to install that allows it to recognize Unrealscript.

    I agree notepad++ is what I use

    the user lauguage is here

    if your totaly new to this sort of thing heres a quick tutorial on how to set it up.

    I followed that and couldnt get it to work... Is there anything more in depth? I'm totaly lost on what to do with these .xml files

    The best free to code in is WOTgreal:

    It requires a little setup though and may seem overwhelming at first, but once you got behind it does it make your coding work A LOT easier.

    Only issue I have with it right now is that it that the debugger doesn't support the UDK, but I use the IDE from Alexander77 if I ever get into the need to debug something more thoroughly than with `log() statements.

    Can someone just post the script I just spent 3 hours and can't get this to work :/

    Which script ? for the IDE you could use uncodex i think this one is free, and WOTGREAL and notepad++ those are the free ones that i have heard of,
