    Mac release date

Is there any news on when the Mac OS X release will be? Could Mark Rein perhaps post a sticky about this, even if it won't come until 2008?

We're still working on the Mac version. We don't know the release date yet. The good news is that the game has gone gold on the PC side so at least it is no longer a moving target for Ryan.

    lol, true.

As for you Mac people, If you have an intel core system; might I suggest a temporary dual boot to XP so you can play Or if you can't handle the plunge, wait for a Linux Source version and pitch Ubuntu on for a dual boot to it instead (though I think it will still require an x386 processor.)

still thinking about doing the dual boot as i'm sure it'll run better on my 8core than my p4, can't see it coming out before xmas but it would be nice to see it in demo form on the mac.

    Thanks

Thanks, everyone. I'll keep paying attention for news here.

I do have an Intel Core 2 Duo with OS 10.5, but I don't want to buy Windows just yet if I don't have to.

    Thanks Mark.
Is Epic going to port it and Midway going to publish it?

Epic always ports it. Macsoft is publishing it as per one of Ryan Gordan's emails to the UT3 mailing list.
