    The "I'm a Nerd" song

Right up the alley of most gamers, someone's already made a nerd song.

    N.E.R.D. - Rock Star > Herbert Midgley - I'm a Nerd.

BTW, pretty nerdish of you to have even found this in the first place.

It's pretty funny. I know there's more than a few nerds on this forum that would probably dig it.

I wouldn't say the Aicha song is much about nerds it is a song done by a nerd. I think the song is pretty good though and a great first effort by that person. I'm not sure if the second song is so much parody or homage to the original though. I like it, too, actually.

I spent a few minutes doing research on that Aicha song and apparently it was an Indian or even French song by Cheb Khaled that came out in 1996 that was later adapted by a group called Outlandish that was made into a soul/R&B title that I am not even sure is lyrically close (after translation) to the original. The kid Gellieman basically created a video using the track and singing the words. So it's not like he actually wrote the song. Nonetheless it's a decent attempt by a kid to make a cover of the song, but it's not his original work. However interestingly enough I enjoy listening to him sing it more than the overly-soulful Outlandish.

On the Nerd song in the opening post, the guy who sang the song above actually wrote the song and composed it. I think that shows a serious effort on his part.

Anyhow, nerds rock, now back to UT!
