View Full Version : pulling bBehindView functionality from UTPlayerController

So I am making my pawn classes and one thing from the start is that I want to extend UDKGame and not UTGame, I want to pull the third person code from UTPlayerController and paste it into MyPlayerController. what is the bare minimum to either reuse or recode to have default third person functionality in my playercontroller and pawn. I am assuming bBehindview and SetBehindView are partially responsible?


also a quick question, say I want to add accelleration to my pawn if he is in water so that he will jump out of the water when he reaches the surface... how shal I tackle this? I am relatively new to programming. My pawn is a fish and I want him to be able to launch out of water.
