does the D pad on the new controller move on you, or can it be locked in place?

the new D-pad has been known to break. I doubt it's been improved much

From what I've heard, the D-Pad has issues with breaking. I assume it's not a problem as long as you don't keep twisting it for no reason.

The D-pad is fine, I have had the silver LE controller for a while now and had no problems at all

Heh, controllers are surprisingly resistant to even a full-throw against a wall. :p

These new D-pads however will, break. So, play nice. ;)

It locks in place, and can even be a pain in the ass to spin to the 4-Way direction. So it's not going anywhere.

Really, I've never heard that. I got my new Xbox control a while back and it works wonders.
