Oy there. I'm in some serious need of a tutorial to start my game from scratch. I've had fun building some maps in UnrealEd, little less fun using Matinee and Kismet ('cause they're hard to understand for me atm, but it'll change, I hope ;]). But the problem is - I don't want to make an UT mod. I want to make something, that's connected with it only by camera mode. I want to make an FPS game, where you can move around, pick up items and use'em on other items. But I've got no idea where or how to start. Anyone could help me with it?

Then it's probably not a good idea to start from scratch, if you find Kismet alone already hard enough.

The best approach for you would be to get it to work as a mod first, then get rid of the UT content, rewrite INI files and rewrite scripts untill it's your thing.
