Okay I just tested it myself and it's simple all you have to do is call up the console (tab) and type in DebugCreatePlayer 1 or 2 or 3, depends on how many you want added in. It works perfectly fine! Though I tested this on my laptop and it took a slight hit to fps but nothing so bad that would make it unplayable, if anything I'd take it down a peg or two from it's max settings. Point is it works, now if only I can do something like that for Mercenaries 2...

Oh I almost forgot, you will need at least 2 controllers, haven't figured if I can use a keyboard and mouse but when I tried it both controlled the same player, soon as I added another controller 2nd player finally responded.

This really deserves a sticky...

Also, can it handle one player on keyboard and mouse, with the others on controllers?

you know I haven't tried it really yet but I'm looking into it, will post when I actually try it. Honestly right now I'm playing Mercs 2 WIF on my laptop and a tad bit sucked in with all the destruction...sweet sweet destruction...not to mention it's giving me ideas for maps.
