I'm gonna set it up, and let it run....I might not be playing alot, but if you shout into the mic for me, I might hear ya!!:D

EDIT: it's been populated for 2 hours now: not a sinle lag-out or complaint yet.
No-lock , double adren: all maps
After many games of playing hap hazardly, I finally unleashed, and it was cool for many many rounds.So I figured hey these guys are down wit it.I heard this one dude going for Sapphire, so I was like well criznap, (Devastation)....so then they left, and now the servers off for tonight...

If you leave it on tonight, I'll probably try it. I don't have a mic though. And I'm not big on no lock or double adrenaline so I may not stay long.

I would only play about 1 outta 3, I'd usually hide, and let the other guys have fun.
I freakin felll asleep playing, and woke up to getting Globbed....LOL
Then I had to turn it off.

dammit since i softmodded my xbox, i cant play on live anymore. and its a prayer to find someone on xlink or xbc!

thats what most people called me.
and a while back i was going to help you and some other guys get all those static meshes and uc2 files extracted....well i dont even live in the same state anymore since then!!
i was going through and reading your posts on the whole no lock on
i completely agree with you shred, i think the game is better with it turned off.
but most people cant play the game without it. when someone starts doing that jump attack b.s. over and over, i like to pull out my trusty flak, shoot them as their either hanging in the air or coming towards me and then simply dodge. and when you kill the jump attacker like that it pisses them off so severly, but gives you some great satisfaction.
damn i wish i had the money to get another xbox and get live. to me, this game alone is worth a years subscription.

and you gotta remember, most console gamers just want to pick up and play.
oh and might i add i remember playing you on live shred....sometimes it was just you and me in a room for a while. you ALWAYS beat me but youre great competition and great to play the game with.

I really appreciate the compliment dude.Things like that keep me doing this stuff, and re-motivate me more than ever, so thanx on many levels.That also goes for all you guys who have said such things in the past.
Now on to what you wanna see.
OK so with some explination:
I am in a "lighting mode" right now.So Praxis and Deadbolt are both being re-lit from their beta lighting.
Praxis is still in a very early state so I only have 2 screens for ya, cause it's still really dark in most of the map.
Meshe are still "beta".I texture them so I can stand to look at them, but I don't go crazy makin it tight.You can see seams on the pillars, but you won't when you play it.
Deadbolt is also in the process of being re-lit.
I saved an early versin with some lighting though so I can still post some screens of that.
See here is some screens of it being re-lit, and some experimentation:
First here is the beta lighting (working lights so I can see).
Here is the re-light attempt.So far I'm still experimenting a little.You'll notice the right side light in the very front is yellow, but the left is blue.
What does everyone think looks better? Blue or Yella?

yellow or blue?
thats kinda hard for me to decide. why? well the blue seems to fit in just right, but theres something about the yellow. you didnt make it too bright yellow, so it looks really good too like it fits right in with the map.
so i'm undecided.

Yup: same thng for me man........hard to decide huhh.....lighting is tricky...The screenshot above the two comparison shots might help you decide.....
But I'm asking others ideas on it, so obviously it's a toughie.

Shoot I'd love to do what I enjoy for a living, but I don't think I'm quite there yet skillwise, almost though....I feel like after I complete an orginal map of my own design, then I'll be ready.
Who knows maybe one day I will make maps for shipped games, and put little eater egg spots in the maps with props to the "old crew" here...
I'll never forget who was a supporter/ fan ealry on, and I remeber my peoples always!

I asked DG Unreal, here is an educated response....just thught you guys might find it intresting:
Looking at the two screenies, I would probably go almost half-way in between what you have, only because that specific Light texture that you are using has a green-cyan tint to it.
The yellow light one looks a bit better visually though, simply because your main map lighting is blue, and yellow is its complementary color, so it adds more "distinction" to the light and makes it more noticeable.
What I normally do if I want a specific color is export the UT textures like the lights and modify them appropriately for my map.
Light color can actually be almost anything that you want, since in the real world we have everything from incandescent (yellow/orange) to sodium (orange/red) to insect (yellow/green) to flourescent (white/blue) to halogen (white/silver) to sunlight-simulation (full spectrum).
However, in the case of your map, I would tend to want to go with a color that is strongly opposite of the Sunlight (or moonlight if you will). So anything that strongly opposes the blue will probably look best.
Which means yellows, oranges and reds.

Ok so I think I got a winner (per DG_Unreal's suggestion), and a little playing on my part.I got the "corona" to look much more smooth, and span the entire light rather than being a dot type thingy.:
