I am trying to set up a dedicated server with the max players as the map defaults. I also want the bots to fill in any open spots that players have not filled yet. All that seems to happen is every map has the same number of players and bots. (Who wants to play Gael with 16 players?) Is there a setting I am forgetting to set? Any help would be much appreciated.

I guess you just need to ensure your players # pretty much match the map. If you go from a 16 peep map to a 10 player one, 6 don't wouldn't get to play that level?

There is a way around this problem but it needs to apply to the Maplist in the ini file only.

In your UT2003.ini file:

[XInterface.MapListDeathMatch]
MapNum=1
Maps=DM-Antalus?MaxPlayers=16?MinPlayers=16
Maps=DM-Asbestos?MaxPlayers=10?MinPlayers=10
Maps=DM-Gael?MaxPlayers=6?MinPlayers=6
Maps=DM-Inferno?MaxPlayers=8?MinPlayers=8

In that way you can regulate the players and have Bots fill in for missing players. As Players arrive, the Bots will go.
