This game has to be linkable. The best multiplayer games are not only the ones that have multiplayer, and great online, but also the ones that support xbox link. It would be awesome to have up to 4 players per 360 link with your friends 360's via ethernet cable for some lan parties. That is one of the things that sets Halo, and Ghost Recon apart from the other AAA titles.
Please consider this!!!!!!!!!!:D

I'm sorry but the coolest thing in the world is going to a frat house and hooking up two different rooms with a two 65" inch screens in each and you can hear the screaming from those two rooms throughout the entire house. P.S. not in the frat, but awesome LAN parties... in addition to other parties. TOGA TOGA TOGA!

Lol, I always throw awesome LAN parties. Me and my friends used to have Halo partys and tournaments all the time. We didn't even have a Gamestop or EB games in town for years either, it was all us. We would rent a building for a day and then all bring our x-boxes.

Threads aren't just so people can get a quick answer, it's for discussion also. Maybe people still want to talk about it.

I'm sure gears fo will have system link, I've seen it mentioned in an article before. If i come across it I'll post it. I'm sure Zoso can find it though;)

Up to how many boxes can link together? (I guess it depends on the router, but is there a max like 8)?

as of right now, we THINK that the max number of players in multiplayer is 8, so if each person had a 360, then yea....8

I feel sorry for you. I really do.

There will probably be a max number of players in the game, people could probably do split screen on x-boxes if they wanted to, or, if they had a wireless router/network then there could be as many as 32 x-boxes connected to each other (at least thats how many connections MY wireless router can have)

Well lan parties are great for a few reasons. I love to go on xbox live, dont get me wrong. But if you have a couple buddies, and can play the deathmatches... they are even better... because you know the people your beating... now magnify that with lan parties.. with say 2-4 people on a could 360's. Add friends, beer(lots of beer), food, and what ever else you can think of.. and you have a awesome time. Some of my fondest memories of gaming have come from team deathmatches..... I am stoked just talking about it.

EPIC... make this game 2-16 linkable. up to 4 per xbox..... PLEASEEEEEE!!!!!!!
