this isnt a duplicate of the what would you do, this what have you done. i want to know what upgrades youve made to make emergence day even better. i have gotten a stronger prescription for my glasses, to make every locust look clearer. what have you done?

Mine is kind of pathetic. I couldn't sleep one night(about 3AM) so I turned on the comp and watched some gameplay footage and read the forums.

I just keep up on any Gears news daily and paid in full for a copy of Gears of War Collectors Edition. I wish I could do something big like get a shiny new HDTV but alas Im on a budget.

ok heres my list (kinda short):

- Got a new subscription to XBL
- Got a wireless networking adaptor (so i can pwn my friends online, and then talk smack to them on my computer at the same time!!

)
- And i'm getting a 27" HDTV soon!!

I CANT WAIT!!!!

I have pre oredered the collecters addition and got xbl working. Can somone tell me the cheapest i can get an hdtv for (20 inches or so).

You buy that small of an HDTV, and I"ll harpoon you over the web.

834 bucks for a large RCA at WalMart. LIke a 50 inch or something.

Those small tv's cost just as much. Don't do it!!!

Yeah i know they do but i only need a small one. I already have a 34 inch sdtv but i wanted a small hd for my room because i am too poor for a big one. Plus i dont think the rca's support 1080i and i dont really have room for 1

I'm engaged in a two-pronged attack in the forum I help out with. (See my sig.) The first part is posting a ton of info on GoW to encourage people to get psyched about it and convince them to buy it on E-day. The second part is daily Halo fanboy bashing because they're always trying to talk sh!t about GoW. So I have to set them straight....cuz they're wrong.

My system itself isn't getting any upgrades, I'm pretty content with it at the moment.

well first off i had to save some children from a burning building. then i ran over and stoped a bomb from going off in iraq. after that i had to come back home to catch entourage. damn i love gears of war

well here is my list but i havent done some of the stuff yet:
i have a whole year of XBL subscription
stocking up on junk food!

getting a HP computer, with a 21 inch widescreen monitor all for gears

and im getting those turtle beach earphones for the comp.

well prob alot more but for now there you go

I inspired CliffyB to make the game in the first. I had just climbed out of a sewer manhole w/ my trust SMG and started shooting cops whilst ducking in and out of cover, grunting and snarling the whole time. I was also being followed by a group of locusts (the insects) due to the sewage all over my body. Then i chainsawed the person standing right next to Cliffy, while he watched and ate his ice cream which he just purchased. SO THERE!

I have this tv and it does support 1080i.

Go to best buy, and check out their HD computer monitors, They have the HD outlets right in it so you dont have to buy any extra wires. For a 17' inch monitor itll set you back about 400$ but thats not that bad

Believe it or not it wasn't expensive! It's last years model and the new ones were coming out and they had to clear space. And yes, I live with crazy gamers, there is ALWAYS someone gaming here 24/7.
