Setting up a UDK Game Server?

so i have a load of space on a fast server.
i would like to try and set up a game on there but know absolutely nothing of these things.
please enlighten me

To install UDK on a server, run the installer with the -progressonly argument to bypass the video card check. Then you can run UDK.exe with the server option.

C:\UDK\UDK-2012-07\Binaries\Win64\UDK.exe server MyMap

You can then connect clients by passing the IP address.

C:\UDK\UDK-2012-07\Binaries\Win64\UDK.exe 127.0.0.1

For clients to be able to connect, you have to make sure the server and clients are using the exact same build, otherwise the game will not work properly.

Make a batch file

a .bat , Type in there

C:\UDK\UDK-2012-07\Binaries\Win32\UDK.exe server NameOfLevel?TimeLimit=0?Game=Arena.ArenaGameInfo -log

use edit .

unrealadmin.org for all your server needs. Things havent changed much if at all from ut3 in tems of commandline params, etc

im thinking ill do a small test game first, some kind of plane dogfight thing sounds good.

gosh blimey after all that it isnt even a windows server, bah..
