    I got questions too:

1)Where does siris keeps all his weapons, armor, helmets and rings??!!! He doesnt seem to be bringing a bag of any sorts...

    2) Does siris sweat? It seems stuffy in his armor and having to fight and all...
Procrastinating playing NG just because OG feels more challenging. Love Rynth's OHKO.

I think it makes great sense. She works for the worker ( corny) and then listens to Siris as he says that he basically wants to hand the Infinity Blade over to the worker.... here's the converstation from the book

Can you find the Worker of Secrets?”
Isa froze, and he felt a sliver of satisfaction—through the anxiety—at having finally said something that surprised her. “The Worker of Secrets is a myth,” she said. “Pure fabrication. Nobody fights back against the Deathless. Nobody.”
“I did. You seem to have been intending to, in some way.”
    Isa didn’t respond.
“The Worker made the Infinity Blade,” Siris said, though he had gotten that information from Kuuth. Could he trust anything that troll had told him?
The God King told him to answer my questions. Why?
“Yes, it’s said the blade is the Worker’s creation,” Isa replied, which shocked him. She did know about it. Or was she playing along?

so she hestitates, when Siris mentions the Worker, most likely because she has just realized that this warrior, who has killed the god king, wants to Turn the Blade over to the Worker

Also, she claims to be a mercenary, that she is for hire, so it's very likely that she had been hired by the Worker, with no real loyalty to him. So she can be easily swayed by Siris' charm

Why wouldn't she just lead him to Saranthia? She doesn't want to let on that she's tied to the Worker, she leads him on that right path (and she knows that he will destroy Saydhi) but she didn't anticipate the God King being there

Here character is very intriguing regarding the background, on a final note, I don't think that she will end up being Ausar's wife, In the book, Siris feels embarrassed, two separate times, when ISA is staring at him with his shirt off, and after he is reborn without any clothes on. He seems uncomfortable with any forms of flirting with her during the trip. I would think that if they were "soul" mates, there would be a stronger connection.

    1. Probably the same invisible bag that all video game characters carry

    2. From the book

The fire took him in the chest. His armor instantly became an oven, his skin searing, then charring. It crusted against the metal intended to protect him. Siris screamed, dropping to his knees, smelling the acrid smell of his own burning flesh.

So we know he at least gets hot! This incident may be why he uses the Thark armor

wow, I haven't played an LoK game in so long I didn't notice the WoS sounds almost identical to Kain. I wonder if it'll turn out this game's story is similar (except without all the time travel and fatalism I hope)? Siris is a good candidate for the role of Raziel, and the Worker makes sense as Kain. Ausar's "death" and re-emergence as Siris is even similar to Raziel's rebirth. Granted there weren't any Elder Gods involved.

very interesting indeed that these two games at least have that voice in common. I doubt it means as much as I'm reading into though.

I'll see if I can figure out who voiced the Archivist, he sounded so familiar but I can't quite place it.

EDIT: Thanks to our fabulous Wiki page, I found out the voice of the Archivist it Jim Cummings. He apparently voiced my childhood haha: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Cummings

Niice research. Yeah what attracted me to the LoK series is the convoluted storyline and unique gameplay. Too bad they didn't make any of those anymore...

And further more! What if Isa isn't a deathless but the descendent of a deathless? What is WoS is her great great.....great grand pappy? A member of line he kept safe and secret after the other Deathless decided to off their relatives.... Talk about making me go "Hmmmmmmm"!
Mind blowing! Never thought of that but it make sense! Regarding Isa's appearance at the end of the game, if she's really just to meet the Worker then why did she get her staff out as if she's ready to battle her way into the VoT? Is it merely just an artistic license from ChAIR for the purpose of having us anticipate the possibility of playing as Isa in IB3?

Grand pappy? That would be interesting but I think what's more likely is that the Worker simply hired Isa to somehow free him and get him the IB.

Winnie the Pooh! I knew I heard the Archivist voice before! Just goes to show the talent the guy has.

Interestingly, only Simon Templemans Wikipedia credits him as working on Infinity Blade, all of the other voice actors that are listed in the credits have no signs of working on Infinity Blade anywhere.

Checking on these guys websites may reveal some info (release dates, names, etc) that were not aware of yet

I don't think she is there to meet the WoS at the end of the game. I think the implication is pretty clear that she is there to rescue Siris. She started out working for WoS but is she STILL working for him? I'm thinking maybe not. If nothing else, her loyalties are now divided.

The Grand Pappy comment is an attempt to work within the constraint that many think she is Deathless. The possibility that she is a descendent of a deathless makes a lot more sense to me. I really don't think she is deathless -- the way IB:A is written is based on the fact that she isn't. If it turns out that she is, it would really cheapen IB:A for me. That kind of backpedaling and cheap plot twists usually irk me. It is basically a 70s soap opera move, and has all the class thereof.

And I'm still not over Luke and Leah being brother and sister. I can't watch Episode IV without feeling cheated, not to mention the 'ewwwww' factor. To me it feels like it wasn't planned out from the beginning despite what people believe about Lucas having all 9 movies all mapped out from the onset.

How cool would it be if they had a Honey Pot Helmet and a Tigger-based suit of armor. When Siris wears them he can bounce from place to place instead of walking. lol

Star Wars wasn't planned out from the beginning. Lucas pretty much made it up on the fly and decided to make the prequels sometime around when Return of the Jedi became an idea. The first movie, A New Hope, as you probably know, did not say "Episode IV: A New Hope" in the scrolling text at the beginning and was actually meant to stand alone. Lucas didn't expect it to be so wildly popular but when it was he made Empire and then came up with the 6 episode thing. Here's a YouTube of the original "opening crawl" from theaters in 1977: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jK-jZo6xjY

    off topic, sorry.

Anyways, as for Isa, I have no doubt she's there to be a love interest for Siris, but I don't think she's Deathless. I also think Isa is likely significant because she's mortal, or can at least die a True Death, and being Deathless would make her a much less interesting character.

Well stated regarding the storyline and plot twists. My draw to this story is how the fantasy medievel and sci-fi mix, while still following the laws of physics on modern earth. (If we start seeing actual magic, demons, and aliens, time travel, etc.... then I would lose interest.. In fact, I hate Ryth's ship flying in to the castle....it's too early in the story for it )

and of course, no cheesy, easy plot twists......"WHAAAATTT???? your a deathless too, ISA???????"

Rereading IB:A, and I'm picking up on some decent flirtation between the two, I might be wrong about their "chemistry",, but I tend to think what the reader/player is led to believe is anything but the truth, which is why I don't think that they will be romantically involved.. More like good friends... (oooh , I used to hate that line in high school!)

I've wondered about the opening credits. I saw the original movie in 1977, but that night our town flooded and we lost everything. Kinda put most of the fine details of the movie out of my head. I didn't see it again until the early 80s when it came out on VHS and by then I think it had the episode IV added.

I thought you were in the Isa is a Deathless camp. Did you change your mind or have you always thought that? If you did change your mind, what caused it?

I think she will be a love interest for Siris. I think she is going to be a form of redemption for him from what happened with his wife. I also think that we will learn more about his other relationships over his rebirths, like Bill's mother.

No, I've never thought she was Deathless. I have stated that she might be Immortal, but not Deathless. You may remember I make a distinction between the two (Immortal meaning they live until killed, while Deathless is the same but they come back when they die).

I think this mainly because she wouldn't be an interesting love interest unless she can truly die. I actually think it's likely that she will die sometime during the story. When/if she does is when they'll probably play the "Isa is Deathless too!" card, if they do it at all (which I hope they don't). Even if she doesn't die, the concept of her mortality will no doubt make for some interesting developments, especially since Siris will no doubt become more and more reckless since he knows he can't die permanently.

I make the same distinction between immortal and deathless. That is canon per Donald's podcast.

Her potential from a story perspective is HUGE. There are so many ways they can go with her including the whole "she's dying what do I do? do I make her deathless to save her? but being deathless is a curse, but I can't go on without her" crisis. haha it just occurred to me that being deathless in love is a lot like being a vampire in love

I'll still read it, do you think we even have enough info for fan fiction? What would you do it on? I thought a story about the nocs would be pretty cool, or maybe one about a human knight (cavalier) or assasin who go to fight the god king, only to be forced into serving him as a titan (or the GK will kill his family) Just the point of view and what the heck they do all day

There's actually a lot of possibilities for fan fiction. The fact that we don't have tons to go on is actually freeing. We can fill in the blanks with our own stories. My story is called Infinity Blade: Guardians. The story takes place in the IB universe but is not focused on any of the titans from the game, and as a disclaimer has real magic. I'll try to post something soon. I just haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately. I could probably post the first chapter, it isn't perfect but I think it is ready for public consumption.

Appologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but from a distance it looks like there are 7 or 8 skycages atop the castle, but we only interact with 3. Are we to assume the others are empty?

Here is another thing that bugs me. Where the heck is Thane in between the first and scond battles with Thane? Why do we have to go against so many substitues? He can rebirth very fast it seems. He manages to rebirth in the time between getting thrown off the tower and jumping in front of Siris to prevent him from freeing WoS. So why is he a no show the rest of the time?

LMFAO THATS SO ****ING TRUE XD all i can say to rationalize that is the idea that all the titans are granted imortality and anti gravity but not the same/ all true powers of a real deathless

I don't think he rebirths at all for the third fight. What we tend to forget is that the elevator scene cuts. We only see the elevator going down a couple feet and then it cuts to the elevator lowering into the vault. In the time it takes for Siris to take the elevator down, enough time could have passed that Thane ran like hell back to he top of the tower. At the speed the elevator goes in the scenes we see it moving, it could have taken as long as 10 minutes to get to the vault, maybe longer.

That's still not a lot of time for Thane to get back to he top, and even then he'd have to jump alllllll the way down to the vault, so it's still kind of a "hmmmm" moment since A) he survived falling off the tower, B) he didn't injure himself by jumping down into the vault which could be and even farther drop than from the roof to the ground, sicne the Vault is apparently underground.

Surviving the fall bugs me. How the heck? I suppose he could have tech built into his armor, like a parasail or a jet pack. I suppose with either of those or a combination of them he could turn around and fly back up to the top and even fly down into the cell, but.... I just don't like that scenario, even though it explains everything.

yeah, plus I remember in the book radriar saying (or thinking about, but it was written in the book) something about deathless not enhancing their armor with stuff like that. maybe small things like minimal health repair, but nothing major.

I was thinking the same thing. But hey, if the dude can survive having his face cleaved without dying instantly (Thane v1) then he can probably survive a measly drop off a tower

Is it possible that there is another entrance and the WoS was just waiting to get the IB?

My theory was that Thane DID die when he fell off the tower, but had a rebirthing chamber IN THE VAULT OF TEARS so in the case of death he could drop down and freak the hell out of whoever killed him as a secondary defense.

in the book it took Raidriar what, two weeks I think? To be reborn, and the location was random, he had to ask a Devoted where he was. With that said, though, Thane being reborn quickly would at least explain why he's so easy to bet the third time (the rebirth was incomplete or something), but I still think surviving the fall and running back up is more likely. He is freakishly large and Deathless have already shown superhuman abilities (like Siris jumping really high, or falling from great distances without injury).

All this falling out of the sky stuff is most likely gameplay drama,

    But....

Maybe he uses a healing ring the second he lands, and even as he is falling off of the tower. (Raidriar had one during IB1,even though he didn't use the healing power in the game)

Or he wall jumps like Jason Fleming in Shadow Complex! (think Ninja Gaiden)
