Default Using default maps for a game

So I am making a racing game called The Finish Line.
While I already have a lot of my own tracks so this is not a necessity I just thought it would be really cool to make epic citadel and maybe another one of the showcase maps into tracks for the game.

Would this be allowed? and do you think it would be a cool idea?

Also the game will be free.

    Thanks
    Will

You can use anything that is included in UDK except for skeletal meshes in a free or commercial game so I don't see why not. It might be iffy to use the Epic Citadel map as it is in a commercial product, but releasing a free game probably won't be an issue. I would contact Epic just to make sure using included levels would be ok though.

I thought I could still use skeletal meshes as long as I don't charge?
