Reset issue - need advice

Hello. Last week i was reset from Red 100. I had a backup which took me back to Red 98 so all seemed fine. However, i lost friendly fire mutator which i use a lot and i'm not sure how to get it back. I have followed advice on these forums to make things unlockable again but i had no success. Let me explain the timeline of events that led to me losing friendly fire and hopefully someone out there may have a solution.

Day 1 - Ranked red 98, made a backup.
Day 2 - completed 4 player campaign co-op, unlocked friendly fire mutator and got the achievement.
Day 3 - Played beast, game froze, got reset.
Day 4 - Used my backup to get everything back except friendly fire is locked again. Checked campaign and it says i have played all chapters in 4 player.

I had tried the advice in one of the big reset threads that is supposed to make things unlock again after a reset, the advice that says to move player data and gamer profile to a memory stick and remove it on the "press start screen". This was supposed to make the achievements and collectibles appear blank but it didn't work for the collectibles. It says i still have them all. I then went and played the whole campaign in 4p co-op again in the hope it would unlock FF again but it didn't.

I'm not sure what to do now. Since i used a backup that was made before i unlocked friendly fire and have no way to remove the achievement associated to it, is it permanently locked now ?

Like i said though Dizz, i've spent the last couple of weeks playing through each chapter in 4 player. I'm 100% that i did them all. I'm actually thinking of forcing another reset (if that's possible) just so i can use the memory stick method to make things unlockable again. I wouldn't mind being without all my other stuff like skins, MP progress (like i made any ) and horde stuff cos all i play is beast and arcade. Only thing i'm bothered about is getting my mutators .

I'm going to move my red 98 player data somewhere safe and leave it and reset myself again unless somebody knows how to fix this.

I guess try that again but yeah make sure to have that backup file handy just In case

Just a guess but since this is campaign based it could be your campaign save file.

NOTE: This is only a guess and I have no idea whether it will work!

I would not try the following unless I had a backup but you could possibly delete your campaign save file and then redo the campaign again in 4 player co-op and see if that fixes it.

If I am not mistaken all campaign related info us saved within the campaign save file.

Thanks for the suggestion but that doesn't seem to work. I actually deleted the saved campaign file but the fact i have the achievements for beating it on insane, the associated gun skin and the 4 player co-op achievement overrules the saved game file. When i check the collectibles they are all still present.

For now i have moved my backup to a memory card and reset myself in the hope that i can re-unlock friendly fire. Shame i have to re-unlock all the other mutators too but it'll be worth it for friendly fire. If this doesn't work then i'll re-install the backup file and hope that another solution presents itself.
