    Thumbs up Need Help Finding Skaarj 3ds Max Skeleton File - SOLVED

    I am currently skinning something that would attach best with the Skaarj skeleton. I downloaded a file called "UT 2k3_Characters" long ago that has had most of the skeletons I've needed up until now. That file didn't have the Skaarj skeleton nor have anything else to do with the Skaarj. I guess 2k3 didn't have Skaarj!

    Can someone lead me to the Skaarj skeleton files please? I can't seem to find them

    Edit: I found the files . . . but in Maya format. I don't have Maya, so I would need these files (.mb & .mp formats) exported into a .3ds file or possibly a .fbx file. Could anyone do this for me?

    ya, if someone has a copy of maya could prob convert,
    i think you can extract the model thru the program umodel,
    not sure if that includes the animations

    UModel wouldn't take either file (.mb or .mp).

    someone may come along who can help convert from maya,
    but umodel is a program that can extract the mesh from the skaarj.ukx,
    there are tutorials on the umodel website,
    i have not ventured too far into it,

    I already have the mesh. I extracted the .psk from my Animations folder using UModel to do that. The main thing I need though is the Skaarj biped rig so I can skin my model.

    Er...I figured out how to get the original skeleton from the file "SkaarjAnims.psk." There's an ActorX import script that I had downloaded somewhere. It had a checkbox where you could load the skeleton only. I tested it with the model I made and it worked.

    Sorry to have bothered you in the matter Parkis.

    Anyway...for anyone who is looking for the UT2k4 Skaarj skeleton/rig, find "ActorXImport" for 3ds Max and use it to get the skeleton from "SkaarjAnims.psk."

    I do have another quick question though: Could I still make a new skin public that has already been made? I did so much work on it already.

    If you made the skin/model entirely yourself, like mesh and textures - what should be preventing you from publishing it? ^^
