Okay so the title is a bit confusing, but what I mean by this is; You go to pick up a weapon (thinking it's safe), realise it's not (half way through pick-up), press down and A to roll back away from who/what's in front of you, but for some reason it turns you 180 degrees and you end up rolling (backwards) into your enemies! Now this is extremely annoying and needs to be fixed. Not saying for Gears 3 necessarily but for Judgment prehaps? If this makes any sense to you guys and you know what I'm talking about, support would be great.
(I have also posted this on the Gears 3 Issues for extra feedback I suppose)

I know exactly what you are talking about. I've never have run into this problem in GoW2 or GoW1 but in GoW3 I have learned not to roll immediately after picking up a weapon. Good point to bring up. Welcome to the forums.

Agree, needs to be fixed. There's a reason why left thumb stick is strafe and right thumb stick is look, and mixing them up is never a good idea. It's incredibly annoying.

I never had this problem until Gears 3 (did it even do that in older Gears games?) It is annoying to pick up a weapon and run back, but instead hop into the enemies. But, I still love the game
