problem with fire setting

i create my own fire & my fire is Natural but i have a problem i want a slow fire( like Fireplace fire) but my fire is too fast(like jet engine fire!!) how i can slow down it?! tnx

You mean you have made a particle system?

Depending on how you have set it up decrease the velocity and increase the lifetime.

yes i made a prtical system and where is velocity options? and obut life time i tryed to fix with that but i could nt becuse some thing else happend u know how a fireplace fire look like, Bottom the fire is Broad and top of it is capillary but if u change the life time setting all of this will change and i dont want it actully where is velocity options?
