Default Normal Map Seaming Problem from Maya to UDK

Hello all! I'm a new user to UDK, so I'll prefix this with it's probably something silly on my end and get right down to the problem.

I'm trying to import some models and maps I made in Maya/ZBrush that seem to display just fine in Maya's Viewport 2.0 and in renders. However, when I import the model (a skull in this case) into the UDK it gets this weird seaming problem on the side and back. I've narrowed it down to something in the normal maps, but these were created in ZBrush which should prevent most seaming issues. Any ideas on what this could be?

Here's the object in Maya's Viewport 2.0 without any visible seam problems.

Here's the material editor view of the object in the UDK with the normal map issues visible in the material preview and the mesh preview (in red).

What does your UV layout look like?

Also, did you make sure that the edge normals were brought in from Maya?

When you imported did you use normal map compression settings?

Awesome! I double checked the import settings in the UDK and I had the wrong compression settings. Totally missed that when I was bringing in the file, and now it works just fine... despite looking a little weird in the preview. Thanks to both of you!
