Apologies if it's already been said, there HAS to be a snub or some kind of pistol so you have something to use when taking a meatshield. You WILL NEVER get a game mode without pistols so please, please give it a rest.

It is possible if they just leave the Snub in without any ammo. Or leave 1 bullet in the Snub capable of giving instant headshots but only accessible after running out of Gnasher ammo. Probably harder to program but it would make more sense as a last resort.

Yes, but it's still enough for about 5 (head)shots or more in total (I didn't really pay attention how much it actually contained).

It's 12 bullets with 4 bullets per clip.

All I see is a bunch of children whining that the Gnasher is being countered by X weapon, Long range > Short range, that is why the Pistol is best in this playlist and that is why people use it, it is intelligent and yields free kills from people with shotguns rushing them like mindless animals.

That's what every game mode is really, a bunch of noobs running around with overpowered gnashers.

Just because it's easy to counter (which shouldn't be a reason to like or dislike) doesn't mean it isn't complaint worthy. 99% of SO users play in a specific way which in turn creates dull and stupid gameplay, the main reason why I hate it.

This is a game mode for the vast majority of ppl who sadly are poop with the gnasher. Let them have their fun for a weekend. They like camping in spawn for hrs at a time with nothing happening. They find it enjoyable. After this weekend they have to come back to regular mode. Once again they will feel my mp wrath.

That isn't the point. It isn't a matter of long range > short range (implying that one should be superior over another) or if using the pistols is 'intelligent'. People are unhappy because every time a Gnasher-based event is organised, something is usually included with it to totally spoil the playlist - usually it's leaving the pistol in or even changing it to the god-awful 'golden' version. People resort to using the pistol to fill the role the rifles would normally have, which means that Gnasher events are always ruined.

I can't actually recall a Gnasher event that was not ruined by the inclusion of another factor. I seriously can't remember Pete putting on an event that was just the Gnasher.

I want to see this Gnasher event, but I'd also like to see a Sawed-off only event. Each sawed off only has one shot and sawed off ammo spread around the map. Normal snub with one shot and one useless frag that only stuns.....

Im just grateful that i frequent these forums and didn't ever experience this laughingstock of an event.

It only happened because the event planner forgot to change the Snub pistol from Stay Frosty to 1 shot instead of a LOLZing 12.

If you pay attention they always leave things from previous events in events after. Since i have been paying attention, it has almost been about 70% of the time that it occurs.

Even if they remembered the "Stay Frosty" snub the description on Epics Community Website says that were supposed to have the Golden Snub...Still would be campy, but not as bad -.-
