    Question MAP DM X-Men Mansion

hey all, i thought it would be a neat idea to rip the X-Men mansion from X-Men Legends 1 and port it over to UT2004.
right now, focusing on the first floor level (there's also second floor dorms, as well as sub-basement which includes x-jet hangar/cerebro/lab/war room, etc.)
i'm not very good at ripping but i ultimately used the Gamecube version with Dolphin & 3D Ripper DX, loaded the 3DR models with 3DS Max, then re-aligned the models with Blensor plugin.

    still has numerous texture problems.
i had to go from room to room and capture the screen about 9 times because it doesn't load all the models unless you're near them.
here's some screenshots of the capture locations and how it's supposed to look,

i did manage to put a map together, but it seems to have some problems while moving. could it be that the model is simply too many polygons (~43k)?
Download: here's a link to a quick pre-alpha map, so you can understand the problem i'm referring to.
again, im very noob at mapping, and i'd rather someone far more experienced than me work on this map.

alright, i think i might've figured out the problem.
i noticed each capture includes two copies of every model. the identical overlapping models must be causing the graphical problems in game.
i also manually fixed most of the textures, it's looking a lot better now! wish it had some higher resolution textures though..

here's a good video which tours through the mansion, as well as the sub-basement,
