Least Favorite and Favorite part of the Gears 3 campaigns

I was wondering, what is everyones least favorite and favorite part of the campaigns (the regular and RAAM's shadow) in Gears 3.

I would say my least favorite is Chapter 3 in RAAM's shadow (the chapter where you are at the school) I just feels like it takes so long and has relatively little action in it.

My favorite part is when you first land on Azura and have to shutdown the Maelstrom. There is intense action throughout the chapters and I feel there is a very good diversity of locust you fight.

not sure to be honest it has been a long time since I played the campaign which is strange as I can play the GoW and 2 campaign multiple times but in 3 nope after all that arcade boosting medals I just can't be bothered with it so I am not sure... if this thread survives after I have Seriously 3.0 which may or may not happen I will play the campaign again then post my favourite parts and least favourite

In that case, I agree with Bacon, on both. GoW3 wasn't up to par with the other campaigns IMO.

Least favorite would have to be the ending. More specifically, the way it killed off the Locust and Lambent.

Hard for me to pick a favorite seeing as I didn't enjoy the GOW3 campaign. So I'll just say the part when you're inside the Hotel trying to rescue Adam.

For me, RAAM's shadow was a better campaign. Felt more like the Gears i love. However, my favourite part of the Gears 3 campaign was Act 2. My least favourite is probably the submarine bit at the end of act 4 or the long non action stretches between battles that are scattered about the game. They are alright on normal campaign but when you play a shedload of arcade they begin to get annoying.

Least favorite: Escaping the Lambent via the zip lines, only to be dumped directly in front of a Gunker. Ooh, or maybe the final boss fight? Both of those are annoying on Insane.

Favorite: Everything else?

Metroidkillah, I hear ya brother. At least you can get
past the gunker. The last level was impossible for me to beat, even with super reload on. It enraged me to a point of throwing the Xbox out the window! Xbox systems are pricey, so I didn't do that. Instead, I decided to just not even bother with it. I still haven't completed insane and now I never will because my campaign data reset itself. I'm at peace though.

Favorite: defending Anvil gate against waves of locust.

I hadn't had or played an X-box for almost 5 years when I first played Gears 3 campaign.

The entire campaign blew my mind, and was the most fun I had playing a videa game in a long time...so It's hard to label any part as my favorite or least.

Favorite: I think the part, when they find out that Lambent has spread to humans (scratch the 'Sires' -part) and had to fight their way out of the city, which is full of formers.

Out of all Gears campaigns favorite.. I think the Baird -parts, being a Baird -fan and all.
Least favorite parts must be, when one of the main CoG characters dies off during the campaign. I don't like them getting killed, but it's always awesome to watch, how they will die, when they die.

Favorite was with the lambent beserker due to how hard she was to kill on hardcore and higher.
Least favorite would have to be the on the rail sequence I hate those.

favorite cutscene moment: when Clay picks up his helmet at the end and the music just gets epic.
Favorite gameplay moment: The battle before Dom's death, that feeling that **** is hitting the fan real fast.
Least favorite gameplay: Tempest battle.... and the submarine.

I found the campaign somewhat of a bore, probably liked the Zerker fight the most but it wasn't anything like the ones in GoW

I particularly enjoyed the presentation style of Act 1 and the intense atmosphere of the beginning of Act 3 at Anvil Gate. What I did not enjoy, however, was aimlessly wondering through deserts, a random shipyard, and Char, for no good reason and for half of the campaign. For what it could've been, Char was handled very poorly in the campaign; probably because of the rush to include Ice-T's cameo as Griffin. Half of the campaign was really good, but the other half was just pointless and slow-paced.

I can't really name a least or most favorite part.. Over all the games I've enjoyed them all and watching plot twists unfold and new problems occur. Its a great story.

I loved all of Raam's Shadow, what a great DLC that was. The only bit i didn't like in the regular campaign was the last bit where you are fighting the queen just do to the difficulty on insane.

Least favourite: Going to have to say the sub bits too. Collecting the parts seemed tedious, and our little group had more difficulty with the underwater bit on insane than with Tempest.
Favourite: Either the first couple of chapters or Anvil Gate. Love the gameplay, and the aesthetics, especially in Anvil Gate.

Seems like I'm in the minority here, because I enjoy the bits where you are roaming through the desert and trying to get through the grub settlements to the barge, and I love the fight with the guards on the landing platform. The look and feel of the dry desert with the grub trenches and stuff is well done and creates a good atmosphere.

So far, my least favorite was getting the imulsion for Griffin. Last time I did it, the arcade host had set no ammo pickups without unlimited ammo, and my HB ran out FAST when trying to kill the hardcore gunker on the elevator. The four of us ended up just meleeing the gunker which took SO LONG and was so hard, we each went down about 20 times. That was tedium.

Least Favourite: The rest. I wasn't that blown away to be honest. Kind of saw everything coming, was all a bit obvious. None of the mystery like Gears 2. I mean who the hell would have thought you be eaten by a giant worm halfway through? Gears 2 = the best.

I didn't enjoy the sub fetch-quests first time around, but for level-building, it's my favourite part. The atmosphere is so damn cool. Naval base is awesome.

Everything in Azura was awful. I played through those bits in a blind haze, couldn't even figure out what I was doing there.
