    Default Editor and PIE Stuttering, Occasional No Sound and Possible Memory Leaks

    I was just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing issues with the Feb, May and July 2012 builds where the editor perspective viewport (realtime mode disabled) is very slow / stuttering. I also experience a lot of sound stuttering and occasionally no sound during PIE except for pops and cracking noises.

    I've noticed also that even while the editor is idle and I'm not using it my CPU utilization is usually around 80% or more. This is without any other applications running and my CPU utilization is normal when the editor is not running.

    PIE also seems to gradually increase the memory footprint of the editor. I was testing this on DM-Deck and noticed the footprint would increase by about 50 - 100 megs with each time I used PIE.

    I've verified this on my machine at home as well as at work. My home machine is an intel dual core with 4 gigs of ram and an nvidia geforce 8600 on the latest drivers. The machine at work is an i7 with 12 gigs and a nvidia geforce GTX 460 on driver version 296.10.

    The machine at work is noticeable less laggy, but still starts to get pretty choppy after a bit of usage. My machine at home is almost unusable in the editor.

    Post the log file also in baseengine.ini there are some suppress= add a ; before the ones like DevGarbage
    If you don't notice something in the log

    After running with DevGarbage suppress turned on I didn't really get much more info. I noticed after doing PIE a number of times that the startup time for PIE increased quite a bit and I was able to get the memory footprint over 3 gigs. This didn't seem to reduce over time if the editor was left idle.
