OG Maximum Level Cap

I'm progressing very nicely at this point in OG at about level 80. I feel like I still have a lot of items to buy/find still. Just curious if anyone has achieved a maximum level cap? I'm looking forward to finding everything this game really has a way of keeping me playing because the items are so interesting. My favorite item at the moment has to be The Holy Band. I feel like a god when I use it lol

I'm in OG at level 106, which I think is the cap with all the blacked out items unlocked. I don't have those items, but I DID encounter a glitch that lets you master your items twice (like in NG) a few times (for Wormwood and Nobel, and one other I don't remember).

even without the glitch, you should be able to get to 106 if you get the Omega Armor, Fusion Helm, Vim, and others from CM rewards, maybe even 107 if they release all the Shadow Complex Items (The SC Shield and the SC Sword are all that's left, they already did the helm and armor, and the sword once but it failed).

I'd start spinning prize wheels now though so you can get some of the lower level blacked out items like the Leather armor and the Ring of Ice and Fire

Thank you for reminding me about the prize wheels! I missed so many low level items lol It's kind of fun using them too. The game seems to give you items within a particular threshold, and I noticed once you start getting stuff you've already mastered it's safe to move up a tier. Not only that but it keeps things more random. I think on my next game I'm going to solely use these prize wheels for a fun change

They are related to Shadow Complex. What do you think the "SC" in "X-SC2" stands for? Granted, they are white versions, when I believe the Shadow Complex versions are Black. However, the Black versions of the SC items do appear in IB1

You can't get Illuminatus and Cryo Loop, they are supposedly unobtainable. Glimmer you can get as the first reward from the Scholar's map, though. Fusion Helmet is NG only unless you get it from ClashMob reward, same as the other SC items. Ring of Ice and Fire you should be able to get from a prize wheel, but you could also restart rebirth 1 and pay money to master it, then it will be available from the store.

I'm sat at level 70, and don't have very many items left to master at all. How are you guys doing it? I barely have any gold at all, and it's starting to get frustrating. I think I'm only on rebirth 23. I have completed the game 2 or 3 times now I'm not sure.

Any help please?!

Most of the blacked out items are still there. I have the vile set, but that's about it I think. I'm just now starting to forge my own gems. Didn't realise how important they could be! Whoops.

Then there's still much room for your level to grow! If you want to collect all those remaining blacked-out items that can be obtained without relying on CM or NG, I recommend this two thread to start with: http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/...ret-Items-list and http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/...sure-Maps-List . Good luck hunting for secret items

As for not having much gold, well one reason would be your low RB count. As you mentioned though, gem forging brings forth many advantages including easing your gold burden - try get/forge some +Gold gems and +Drop Gold gems. The stat-value cap for the former is +37% and +400% for the latter.

Once you're happy with your +Gold gems / +Drop Gold gems, get an armor with a hex gem slot or the Paga Circle/Iridix/Gem Circle ring(s) so you can place your +Gold gems into it. Then you might want to get a shield/helm with diamond gem slots to place your +Drop Gold gems. All you need to do left is to wear those items (and thus those gold-farming gems) when you open chests, or even when you fight titans (my favourite act in the past)

I use my Aegis set for gold grinding. In the armor and Paga Circle ring I have +Gold% gems. In the shield (Kerrak), I have 2 Drop Gold gems and a spectrum defense. I think those are all of the related ones, but they really help a lot. Good luck with the blacked-out items!

without Gem Set.... level cap in OG maybe around 105-107 ( depend on Blackout item from CM rewards)
after you buy Gem Set... level cap will be around 124-126.....

try use Big Key & Spinning Rare Wheel for getting blackout item..
(first... you should do gold farming... LoL)

So the only blacked out items you have should be anarchax (heavy), hess (dual), cryo loop and illuminatus?

to get the gem set you have to enter Infinity Blade 2's Negative Bloodlines. It's a hardcore mode, so you have to be ready for it to be difficult. The only item you can use in -BL is the gem set, you can't use anything else. When you master the gem set, you can buy it for 100 gold a piece in the regular game (OG) and even in NG if you start a New Game+ from that same character slot

Also, at rebirth 24 and dying a lot - is it just me being rubbish at the game?!? I'm sure it is.

There is a glitch that allows you to master anything as much times as you want. ElPared possibly did this glitch. But I doubt it...

I'm 125 and level 126 is only 1/5th full. I have a couple items blacked out but I don't think it would be enough to get 126.

I'm pretty sure the legit max is around 125. I don't have Vim, but it doesn't look like it's gonna do it.

how did you get twice?

I don't know. It only happens after an update somehow, but basically I started the game with the item in my inventory (when I'd previously sold it after mastering it) and it had about 1/3 of its XP used up already, but I was able to extract the rest and master them again. This only happened with Nobel and Wormwood, and I seem to remember one more item too, but I'm not sure what it was.

I think the OG legit level cap is definitely 125 for now, but who knows what it is what it is the new slide glitch (the thread got deleted I think, but it basically lets you master every item for the same amount of XP)

Some items got xp boosts after updates. Therefore, the game still counted them as "mastered" but allowed you to make up that xp gap and master it "again".
I think this also happened with the Night armor and Helio Armor.
It's pretty awesome- those of us who've been playing since the beginning get a couple extra skill points.
