    Default Abdeen palace - photorealistic demo

    Hi,
    I would like to present our new UDK project. It is architectural visualization based on one of the Abdeen's palace rooms. It was done as a demo to win the client and to show that photorealistic AND real-time is possible.
    There is no pre-baked lighting in the room, it was lit completely in UDK.

    Yeas,
    I swore I wouldn't use them, but my friend persuaded me that they fit the richly decorated room.

    is this DX9 or DX11 ?, if it's DX9 i would be interested in knowing how you were able to "reflect" the light towards the floor on the 4th picture,
