Well, not literally. But I've had several thoughts about re-upping and how it might be implemented in GoWJ.
First of all, I personally like the re-up system. I enjoy the fact that even if I reach 100 I can have a go at it again, so I would like to see re-ups make a come back in GoWJ.
Second of all, I know that some people have an issue with not being able to differentiate between lvl 100 bronze wings and lvl 400 gold. Please don't argue over whether this is actually the case or not for you, but either way many people don't enjoy reaching lvl 400 because it's not unique enough for them to stand out from the lvl 100 and so they'd rather stay at green or red wings. If the current re-up system is kept for GoWJ, I think a simple solution (if graphically possible for that game) would be to make lvl 100 silver wings instead of bronze, which also works with the fact that the first 99 levels are white. This would definitely make gold wings stand out, even if for example they couldn't be made blue wings for whatever reason.
Finally, the number of times you can re-up. Having reached lvl 400 you kind of just sit there watching your xp points accumulate, while I would rather the levels would keep going up and up. Granted, (I assume) not a great amount of people have reached lvl 400 and many might find this an insignificant and worthless point but it would be nice if they did one of two things. Either they add a few more rounds of re-upping (of course, if possible) which would make sense if GoWJ were the last in the series (now, I don't know if this is the case) because you'd probably be playing that as a source of Gears for a long time if they don't come out with anything else. Alternatively, they might implement a looping system, so when you reach lvl 400 you can re-up to white level 1 again. That way you get the achievement but you can stick with the colour of wings you want to display as the next time you're re-upping you could stop at those. Or go in infinite loops your choice.
If they do add more lvls it wouldn't necessarily mean they'd have to add achievements and skins to unlock with each, though I understand some people might find it pointless to re-up otherwise. On the other hand, if you're just playing for achievements wouldn't you be happy getting your last achievement based on levels the same place as you do now and then not having to worry about leveling up?
Which re-up system would you prefer if any? If you'd add more re-up colours, how many more? Just wanted to see people's opinion on this.
Sorry, kind of turned out a bit long.
