    Default for god's sake make all cutscenes skippable

    Can't believe this isn't fixed in any of the 3 updates.

    It's really boring to watch again and again the same scenes. Now I'm 66 lvl and trying to beat one of skycage fighters and have seen cutscene about 20 times (yes, i'm not so good at swordfight).
    Just add one button: "Skip all that mess and start the fight", ok?

    Exactly what I was thinking in the Sky Cage room..... a 'skip' button would be great.

    I don't find the cutscenes get boring. I just appreciate the game and the amazing effort put into it(despite the bugs). I also try to figure out the meaning of the many confusing sentences spoke by the deathless and blood sentinels.

    EXACTLY, they worked hard making this AMAZING game for us, and also the extra time making these cutscenes to fill it in with a background story to figure out. We should thank them for their hard work. And actually....we can speed through most cutscenes anyways, only a few that we can't.

    The game is definitely more fun if you appreciate all of its aspects.

    it does suck that you're only allowed to skip certain cutscenes. Like, why can you skip the intro for Raidriar's Seringal, but not Raidriar himself? you can skip through the Archivist's lines, and what he says is way more interesting than what the GK says. Also, for some reason you can't skip the cutscene when you walk back into the courtyard with the dragon statue after getting the free chest there.

    it seems they only want you to "appreciate" the annoying cutscenes. I can't tell you how sick I got of hearing "not until I kill you first!" in skycages. Yeah that's real interesting Xyloto, I'm so glad I had to listen to you say that 15 times because you keep breaking my parries

    They should definitely put a FF arrow on all cutscenes. The statue one is the most annoying by far

    From a programming point of view, often cuts scenes are there while processes are running in the background. Variables are being calculated and set, data is being written to the local storage etc. It is an illusion so you dont have to watch a spinning wheel while you wait. That's my take on it.

    so... they have to reload the courtyard area after you were just there? I remember in IB1 there was a similar area, where you fought the first giant but there was an area to the right where you could go fight a Paladin or something, so I wonder what would make the courtyard so different?

    IDK, I could be way off base. That's just what I always assumed. But you know what they say when you assume...

    Seeing some cuts about 100 times I can't appreciate it more than already appreciate )

    Mine too... probably Raidriar's cutscene can't be skipped because there are some files being removed from RAM for better performance and others coming in... I think that's why we can't skip the fountain cutscene.
    But one thing is true: they should allow us to skip them. Not that they're awesome, but sometimes I just want to focuse on fighting, you know

    That's the thing though, they can't let us skip them because the background processes are critical to the operation of the game (assuming my original premise is true). The other scenes are just for the sake of story and gameplay so we can FF through those. There has to be a reason we can't skip through all of them. All games have these things. Either they have cut scenes we can't skip or they make us wait between the action either by starring at a blank screen or watching a mesmerizing spinning wheel...

    I almost always skip the room to the right in the courtyard since you can't FF getting the loot from the chest OR the cutscene when you re-enter the courtyard.

    There's FF button anyway. But: (1) some cutscenes cannot be fully skipped; (2) I suspect that too much FF-ing will make my game laggy.

    So I find these cutscenes annoying at times but still appreciable. They are well-made, looks good (think about retina display ) and their presence in the game shows much effort and dedication from ChAIR. I may get too impatient sometimes, but one day if these cutscenes are all gone, I can even imagine myself missing them. Without these cutscenes, the game can become a monotonous cycle of "simply kill the enemies cuing up in front of you", if you get what I mean.

    And last but certainly not least... have fun picking up money bags in advance !

    It's hard to believe that to fight Xyloto you need to wait about 1 min while it's model loading to RAM. Also I'd better look at "loading" sign than watching the same videos for 1000 times.

    OK, if FF button is too hard to code, then why you can't just restart fight WITHOUT WATCHING ALL THOSE CUTSCENES? That's really frustrating.
