Infinitely levelling up your square gems

I would go 189+146+32
And
150+94+49

The first will most likely give you a +200, the second forge will probably get you close but not there for a second

One of them: why do we need square rare/spectrum/dark gems if we can just upgrade round attack infinitely? I even think it maybe easier... Than spectrum/dark at least

Right, that's why i've been mainly focusing on round attack. The rainbow gems turn out to be weak rare gems. You can almost always accomplish what they do by using a rare elemental attack of better stats, which is, of course, very, if not more difficult to forge.

But let's face it, when you saw a dark +10000 on a solar weapon in the picture i posted... won't you feel it's awesome?

wind +400 is the cap, it can't be improved. You need another 2 wind +400 gems to make the Rare Wind gem which can be upgraded infinitely

wind +400 is the cap, it can't be improved. You need another 2 wind +400 gems to make the Rare Wind gem which can be upgraded infinitely

None. Those gems are not enough. But, the best is always the highest.

Guys I'm totally bummed I forged the +400 Fire gem I got from beating Ryth, the +250 Shock gem i got from one of the new maps, and a +100 dark gem. It came back with some lame shield gem that is totally useless and sells for about 498,000. That means i even lost value off the forge. What was more confusing, the gamecenter achievement came up that I just forged a gem worth 1,000,000, but um, i guess i didn't? So now I don't even have a half decent gem to put on my solar dual weapon insights from the pros please!

Don't forge a +400 gem with anything, except two other 400 gems of the same element.
Otherwise you will get something other than a square gem.

See my thread on how to change the colour of your square gems, if that was what you were after.

To get a rare square gem you need to forge three 400 square gems of the same element.
That produces a 500 rare elemental damage gem. Once you have that you can pump it up with more elemental gems of the same element that are 200 or above

Forge three 200s together. That gives you a rare attack gem. Then after the you can increase it in steps of 50 by forging it with two other attack gems of approx. 150+

All the ones lower than that didn't work, but the 105 did. I think the third gem can be pretty much anything. I think I used Magic +250 + Magic +105 + Magic +63 = Magic +275

Do you guys think that Magic stats affect how fast it charges? Idk why but it seems to charge quicker when I have more Magic + gems on

If all three gems are round attack gems you will always get an attack gem out of it

You shouldn't forge the three gems because it's a waste. Here's what I would do: wait for another low value attack (< 100), put 150, 50 and that low value gem into the forge, you should get something around 170 and 180. Save that 100.

Edit: also, I have been trying to forge an attack gem out of three defense, magic and health gem but got a bigger health gem. It doesn't work that way?

I've thought of another puzzling factor of the gem forge: how can rare gems such as say, a +600 fire, have the same value cap of $500,000, as say a +400 fire, and still be possible? Logically, a better gem should be worth more, like a +50 being worth more than a +25?

Jebus, these rare gems are a lot of work! I've managed an attack and a health (which I've then boosted with two other 40+ health). Now working on a shield, and the slow SLOW slog to a spectrum square!
