Gears for windows

Hey guys,

Somebody give me a clue here. I just got gears for windows, and it's supposed to have the editor with it. But I can't find the editor..... where's this game hide that at? This is the digital download from windows live if that matters.

Thousands of threads was written about this, use forum search tool before you create such thread man, you make only trash threads.

But i'll answer your question.
Create shortcut to startup.exe (or copy that from your desktop if you already have one) open properties window and in target you should have something like this:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\Binaries\Startup.exe" editor

Alternatively, right click on your Gears of War for Windows .exe file and there should be an option to "Run Editor".

-Make short cut for startup.exe
-Right click the short cut
-Select properties
-After the last quote on the target line add editor -cookededitor -installed.
