    Default Falling through Terrain

Hey... I encountered a problem trying to create a terrain. Even though my Character collides perfectly with the builder brush and static meshes, she falls through the Terrain:

I tried to set the Terrain to "COLLIDE_BlockAll". But when I close UDK (with saving) and reopen it, the Terrain is set to "COLLIDE_CustomDefault" again.
I also hit the "Build All" Button before... but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

If your terrain is created from a greyscale height map image don't have any solid black in it.
I found that UDK sometimes struggles with to collide with flat 0 height values in height maps.

Thx for your answer... but the terrain is not created from a height map. It is just a terrain plane with some dents painted on it...

If your terrain is made from a static mesh ( imported from 3ds max or any other program) go to the static mesh editor and uncheck the " use simple collision box". That should fix it.
