There was a vote awhile ago. They sold avatar shirts with Live or Die being the options and live obviously won the contest.

Avatar shirts are still for sale under Gears of War 3 avatar store I believe. Real shirts, not too sure.

I believe the avatar shirts got pulled a while back. You can still get a real shirt off ebay for about $20-$25.

I remember seeing an interview with Cliff B. saying that Dom was always slated to die as his story was done. He visits Maria's family's grave/memorial, gives his knife to Marcus and is at peace with himself.
Clayton's near brushes with death were funny.
He had to live because no mother should have to bury 3 children. Not that there was much of Ben to bury...
