EASIEST way to defeat Ryth.

This is, quite possibly, the easiest and laziest way to beat Ryth at a very high OG level.

EQUIPMENT:
Solar Trans- LX (light): elemental attack gem (+400 or +500), On Combo5 Continue combo
Vile Shield: +200/250 attack gems (both slots), elemental defense
Aran: Equip with attack gems
Aegis Armor: Magic +200/250, Titan Break +2
Black Rose

Since a high level Ryth has the potential to kill you in one hit, no matter how much SP you put in health, here is the SP build:
Put 100 points into shield. This should give you ample blocking ability.
Put the rest into attack.

What you need to do is, quite simply, block every single one of his attacks. They are ALL blockable. When your magic regens, use that Shield 5 spell. This can restore over 100 points of shield.

I faced a level 21,000 Ryth with this setup, but I didn't even use an On Combo5 multiplier and I only had 1 rare gem, and I still beat him on my 1st try.

I'm dual too the ryth fight it's easy when you have an elemental attack accord to his weakness and titan break +2

Unfortunately that doesn't work if he is high enough in level.

NG22 he was level 11500 and with 300 shield stat and the Kerrak shield equipped I could block 4 times.

I tried fighting him with Light, Heavy, but as Silversabeast says in NG dual is the way to go.

Yup, pretty much like I did!
I did with less powerful gems and without the Continue Combo goodie however. Also, I didn't need any extra shield SP - I have 105 SP total with my Epsilon. My lvl 3500 Ryth took 5 shield points on each block.

The +500 elemental attack gem is forged with 3 +400s, and the rare defense is just a Rainbow defense.

I think i may have a tactile way of killing him, ...it invovles aquiring two 'Titan Break 2' gems and putting the second one in the 'Paga Circle' ring.

That and the Solar Weapons

I use Titan break +2 and a elemental attack gem. Ryth was on 9,000 and i was 322, put all on attack and went for it I wanna defeat him again but now without elemental gem.

I appreciate this, as an OG player. level 6500 Ryth is pretty insane when you're only level 105. I'll have to try this when I have the mil for my third and final Solar Trans

I noticed that he is not immune to but one element.(I suspect it is dark as the Ryth in my game is not immune to darkness)
So equip a strong level dark gem(for those whose Ryth is not immune to dark) and beat the living day lights ur of him!

How much damage can you do with crystal of the black rose?
I used it on Thane who is immune to all elements and it only did about 800 in damage.

well... if you don't consider "parry all" gem to be cheating, equip one on your solar dual weapon and you can win him easily.

You're outdated. It looks like bosses are immune against everything, including Crystal.

Yeah, just fought Raidriar and used black rose on him, only did lik 200 in damage.
Maybe this update 1.3 lets us forge the Rainbow attack gem!

the prize is element +400 fire.
You have to have a solar weapon.
Use an element that he is not immune to. ( it changes everytime)

I used the Dragor Scale ring instead of the Holy Band. Same amount of healing, just no damage dealt.

Even faster is "On Magic Restore X Shield" gem where X is 120 or so. That way you can use the Holy Band and hit him for extra damage every time you cast magic.

Well, no actually:
If you equip that magic restore shield, you're missing out on the Titan Break +2, and that gem allows for more damage than a Holy Band. If you use a Continue Combo, you get 2 extra ultra hits, which is 6x base damage. If you're at a high OG, you're gonna have at least 5000 damage with a solar, which means you can get an extra 30,000 damage instead of that 12,000 from the holy band.

A solar sword instantly multiplies any elemental attack by 10. The best elemental attack gem is a +500 one. (You forge this by forging 3 +400 gems.)

just beat Ryth the first time using this method just 2 more times and I can forge my first rare Fire gem haha

I should add that it's completely insane to try and fight him any other way, in OG at least. At rebirth 113 he kills me in 1 hit no matter what my SP spread is. Makes using Dual on him pretty fun though

It changes every time for me too, I was lucky he had a Dark weakness, which just happened to be the gem I had in my Light Solar Tans

CHAIR should do a fourth update with a solar trans shield. I have no clue how that would work or even make sense, but it'd match the sword at least

I actually managed to take down a 20,000 Ryth without this method in OG RB 195.. I'll post pics later, I promise.

Use 2 dual swords: Nobel and Solar-Trans. Get an arsenal of +500 element gems, use it in your solar trans. Get 2 On Magic Titan Break +1 gems, put them in each. Put 2 +250 attacks in the Nobel. (Nobel for bosses w/ prism defense, Solar-Trans for everything else.)

Use the Trifecta: Load it with +250 attack gems.

Use the Hazzoc or Splintered helm (NOTE: This is personal preference. I use them cuz I like that health bonus, but you could use an Aran (for extra attack) or a Royal Helm (for extra magic). Load with +250 attacks.

Use the Aegis Armor: Put a +250 attack and a Titan Break +2.

Use the Holy Band and Ring of Man: Get 2 Rainbow defense gems, put them in each. Put 1 +250 magic in the Holy Band and 2 +250 magics in the Ring of Man. (Use Ring of Man for bosses w/ prism defense, Holy Band for everything else.)

Put ALL your stat points into health. (I put 5 into attack for aesthetic improvement.)

There ya go! I honestly don't think anybody has THAT many rare gems, but achieving all capped non-rare gems (attack +200, magic +200, all element attack +400) is definitely doable at your RB. I got them on RB 150.

All you need to do is make the switch from the Raidriar set into the Aegis set, and equip a helm with 3 circle slots. Buy a Solar-Trans and get the Holy band, too.
