    Default UDK viewport bug.

    Hi,

I'm new in UDK and i'm using it on parallels desktop on a mac. When I start navigating in the viewports it goes really fast and I have no control over my moves.

PS: i've install other 3D's applications such as 3Ds max on parallels and I don't have this kind of pbs.

    Thanks.

Oh, god you're a lucky man. I do the same thing and couldn't find any information on the subject anywhere, and then I figured out how to do it. I will pass this information on to you.

When you first start up Parallels Desktop, click on the settings button in the bottom right corner of the first screen that shows up. From there, select the options tab in the settings window, and select "Advanced" in the leftmost list. The top option should be smart mouse. Click the drop down menu next to the SmartMouse text and select off. You should be good to go! If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reply!

Let me know if it works. I updated to OS X Mountain Lion and therefore updated Parallels Desktop itself. The menu setup may be different, so the tabs may not say the same thing for you as they do for me. Let me know how it goes!

Yes it's works Thanks. Sorry I don't want to update to mountain because I know that for the moment it look like a "testing version" ^^. Apple would release an update soon I think, I hope.

    Thans.

Escuse me, but I work a lit bit in parallels but the reaction of my mouse (after the new settings) is unusual. It seams like there is an acceleration on my pointer. It's very strange, and I have this problem in all the OS.

If you go into your mouse settings in windows you can find a setting called "Acceleration". If you turn that off, you should be good to go on your windows virtual machine. As for your OS X partition, I can't speak for that. Sorry. If you can't find where to turn off acceleration in windows, simply google "Turn off Windows Mouse Acceleration".
