Can you guys please disable stats in private because of boosters?
The only reason is because almost every gears player gets their hard earned
Ribbons
Medals
K/D
W/L
And other unlockables by playing PRIVATE!

Probably only 3% of the gears population got everything by actually EARNING them.
Now when I just got my Onyx Headshot medal by actually earning it, I feel no recognition because practically everyone boosted it!

Now I feel like all my hard earned ribbons, medals, and unlockables are just a waste, including the ratios.

And what fun is a game when most of the players cheated their way through and the actual earners feel like they did crap.

You wanna play 500 or so campaign chapters? play 3000 games of a versus type you hate? Force yourself to play as a female and ignore all those other characters you bought?

I'd rather they change the medal requirements, so less people would be inclined to boost. Make stuff that encourages actually working towards it, instead of insane requirements.

Uh no... I don't believe anyone has gotten all the medals without playing at least 1 private match. The requirements for the majority of the medals are insane where playing private matches is the most viable solution. For the poll, yes I boosted medals but I still EARNED them. I didn't just leave my controller and console on and left it over night. I actually had to put effort in to attain the medals I have. As for stats, the stats from a private match only count towards the overall k/d w/l, which only you can see. The stats seen at the end of a match have not been affected at all by any private matches played.

i don't see a need for private leaderboards since i agree it's just boosters who play bots, don't even see a need for quick match ones since bot's change it, but the k/d w/l you see when playing online with people and selecting them after you've quit out is there k/d, W/Lfor that particualar gametype so no matter many kills they get in private it won't change

I could care less if people want to boost medals in private as long its kept out of public play, taking away acheivement s from private matches would make no sense (the majority of my horde acheivemnts were all done in private, and Im pretty sure some of them HAD to be private because one of them required playing on hardcore I think or playing as specific charechters which would never happen in random.

The way I look at it is if you got a medal legit rather than private boosting, in theory you should develop much more skill. Thats the real reward, the medal is just a bonus.

Yeah to be honest, medals like vengeful are a nightmare online, if a player kills you 5 times, hes likely to continue doing it. i dont boost in private but as judgment gets closer i will do to tie up loose ends

Yes I earned them. It was in Private Match but I still earned them. Not earning them is hacking to make it so you have 9999 of each medal...

Medals are there for you to feel like you have achieved something. If you only want them to show off (I'm not saying this is the case with you) and you care whether or not other people have it, you have misunderstood. You should feel good about it for your own sake.

The ability to boost in private prevents these "cheaters", as you call them, from ruining your online experience.

If you got 3.0 achievement then for me you dont have a life becuase you only get to be honest a crap looking medals and 100 point game score wow you spended hours days after days boosting for that and in the end when you look back and you will see you got nothing for it like you did for the 1.0 and 2.0 in the 2 previous gears games

i dont boost becuase i dont want to sit for hours and hours doing 1 things just to get a onyx medal and i rather play the game how i want to play it and have a life.

If private didn't allow to get all the medals, EPIC would'e changed Seriously 3.0 to a more reasonable state. It ruined the achievement, and I DO care about achievements. 2000/2000 was my goal before release, now I couldn't care less. What'd be the point? It doesn't show dedication or hard work, it simply shows how much time you are willing to spend in private and leaving your Xbox on.
Therefore, medals should be disabled in private.

Private match boosting is okay because it does not effect the main MP population.

Imagine joining a Wingman game and seeing everyone standing in a single spot spinning in a circle.

I think the best solution is just to make the requirements reasonable for people who have full time jobs/education. Also dont make their to be medals that make you play as certain charachters or play certain gamemodes. It gives the majority of players something they can see themselves reasonably getting, not something they will think I will never get this unless I leave my Xbox on with a rubberbanded turbo pad or whatever.

Personally, I think they made the medals do hard to obtain, they were just grinding in private matches. Epic and PCF should bring back medals but make them only count for online and reduce the number of requirements. e.g 1500 weopon kills instead of 6000!
