Bring b 25x xp for gears 2

I think 25x xp should be brought back into gears 2 permanently and some people including myself stilltry to find matches online for those who want to get the veteran gear achievement. But got deranked and stuff.

Amazing how many people want Veteran now just for the Gold Gnasher. Instead of requesting a permanent 25x XP multiplier why not grind like the rest of us had to? Just a thought.

Dude I too would like to see 25x XP back. every time I try and join a game I get booted out telling me 'The Games host removed you from the session' And im like Why You Do this?!

If this got brought back permanently I would reset my lvl 100 and go all the way back through the ranks.I actually liked Gow2 multiplayer better,no Sawed-Off's,Retro's,and you could actually get a decent Gnasher battle on there.

Hey, I just started messing around with an Annex game here and there to rank up (currently 16). I've played Gears 3 for months now, and thought I'd go back for the Golden Gun/Member of the Old Guard. I'm not a Gears 2 fraud, I actually used to play it for endless hours offline with friends and by myself (didn't have xbox live).

However going back (I'm assuming like most) I'm finding the movements almost unbearable. Still I'd like to complete my quest to 100, but am wondering at what sacrifice? Does it take as long/less than Gears 3 would you say? Of course double xp helps...but I've never heard of 25xp? Did they only do this once? I'd commit myself and have some fun for a week or so if that came back. Anyone know when they tend to chuck out an XP weekend? Maybe on the birth release of the game?

I want the 25x xp for gears 2. its so hard to get matches in gears 2 and it makes it almost impossible to lvl. im lvl 26 right now after a good 3 days of playing. my GT is : ShabutieRocks if anyone wants to play gears 1 and 2 and 3

They wont make the mistake of giving out 25xp again after so many people got mad about having people being "given their wings" Heck 90 rank is only halfway to 100 or it used to be... Permanent 4xp you should be grateful for that... Think about it from the perspective of someone who dedicated many days and hours to earn it with out multiplied xp. Heck I was a star when they had Halo style of ranking. That was the bomb but to many people standbyed to keep their star.

When you get reset at ranks 38,62, and 97...I think I deserve my wings. Its THAT reason we should get the 25xp.

I know it's not what you guys want to hear but with Judgment on the way and Gears 3 only getting a 3x XP bonus for the Anniversary I very much doubt Gears 2 will ever see any XP events again. There were TONS of events throughout 2010 and 2011 before Gears 3 launched, it was actually possible to get your Gold wings from scratch at Xmas 2010 with the staggering XP they gave away. So there's no excuse. The only guys I feel bad for here are those who got reset on their journey to the Gold wings.

I'm starting my journey towards achieving Member of the Old Guard. Only a 23...but have a couple buddies, one who's a 62 (Jimzah from the forums) and by the math (unless he read the numbers wrong to me)...at 600 a pop for Horde, it takes 233 waves to rank up?. In other words he needed approximately 140,000 to go from 62 to 63. Is that really how many waves you'd have to play? That just can't be right. That wouldn't even sound right for 99 to 100.

I don't mind a fair grind, and I really enjoyed the four hour session today but I'm kind of stutter stepping when it comes to this goal of mine to rank up. I still play primarily GOW3 with some Borderlands/Arkam City mixed in. Are there really realistic hours to get this without sacrificing too much? It's just been a small goal of mine for a while but it would be frustrating to invest and find out at 70 that it's not worth it.

Extra XP, get people playing your series in the months before Judgement!!!
