Is it bad when the Lancer makes up 60% of total kills?

War Journal is very accurate, anyway :
out of 100000 MP kills (including Private games) I have 36k kills with Gnasher which I didn't boost at all.
Lancer, HB and Retro are equally 7k where I mostly boosted them to get "God At Arms".
Can't remember power weapons but I had most kills from public MP apart of heavy weapons but enough bragging.

You cannot justify any of those things, especially the last three I mean how can you tell who plays what character for what? My favorite character is Bernie because she is a total badass and I absolutely love snipers in any game, especially the Gears of War series but to you that would translate as "female character abuse" define abuse? I do none of those things and at one point I was 82% avoided. ._. Most for trash talk and unsporting. I don't even talk in game chat...... Have no clue what I made people angry with.

After logging off for the night, I checked my versus stats...with the Lancer at a whooping 60% of total kills....and my personal favorite: 10,000 chainsaw kills!

This leads me to my next topic.....The Lancer itself.

Is it not possibly the most versitile weapon a Gear has? The chainsaw especially has been buffed in Gears 3 (where as, in Gears 2...if you get shot, the chainsaw lowers)

You can engage targets at medium range...but you will probably get out classed by the Hammerburst , or even Snub at long range.

You can engage targets at close range with the chainsaw as well, though, this can be a gamble.

So when these "hardcore" Gears players with thier Gnashers get all bent out of shape when I either : 1) Lance them down or 2) Chainsaw them...especially funny when they try to wall bounce.
I have no sympathy for them, they are taking the risk of getting so close.

After tons of hate mail messages ("you F***ing n00b, use gnasher" and so on) AND after looking at my player profile on Xbox...73% avoid me because im "Unsporting" !!

I would say... keep using your lancer! People will always have a reason to whine. The one time it is because of kill stealing (even if it isn't on purpose), the other time it is because you have host power,
but I believe it doesn't exist in Gears 3... so ignore it and enjoy racking up even more chainsaw kills!

You don't believe what doesn't exist in GoW3. Host advantage? It does if you're playing anything other than Versus on servers. And even then, there is a significant advantage (connection-wise) granted to those living closest to the servers, just like those living closest to a host on P2P.
