Default Which UDK games provides their source codes ?

Hey, I am learning the Unreal Script and I am making a lot of progress right now. However the UT3 code is a way too hard to understand for me. This why I would like to know if there are some amateurs UDK games from which I could learn with a more easy and understandable code.

    Thanks

TheAgent released the code for a zombiegame and also an initial version of Dungeon Defenders for UDK was released. I'm sure you're just as great at searching for it as I am.

Also let me add that the UDK Gems(Sticky in this forum) are truly magnificent, they might not cover exactly what you want but they do cover what they are implying plus extras.

I learned a lot from reading the Dungeon Defenders Develoment Blog and looking at it's code.

    Here's the link http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/Dunge...loperBlog.html

Alright, TheAgent's code looks fine for me and I am still downloading the Dungeon Defenders' sources which were however hard to find out. Anyway, thanks and I'm still looking for more codes

It's worth mentioning that if you buy the retail version of Dungeon Defenders you get their dev tools (their customized Unreal editor) with ALL their updated source for the latest version of the game. It's a lot more code than the DL from UDN. Has examples of steamworks interfacing, console platform frameworks, etc. There's also source for the DLC packs and new gamemodes. Ton of really helpful stuff to digest there.

I think that you can see any UDK game source code , as long as you are a hacker and you have skills . or maybe not and there's a program outthere that lets you do so
But who cares it's so easy to program in UScript. I actually never copied any code wich wasn't from the UDN , because you will always end up doing it your way , since your game is unique i guess, so will use different code...

    Im just saying...

dont be mad about it, theres more than a huge chance there will be a eu4 decompiler very soon after its release
    Code:
    We.spazmodicaly.simulate.new.sound.with.technical.equipment.that.is.specificaly.manufactured.for.humans.to.communicate.in.outer.space.Tegleg.manipulates.time.and.space.to.create.new.experiences.to.generate.a.hardcore.database.generation.

I agree. Locks on your doors just keep the honest, honest. If someone really wants to break in, they will do it whether you have locks on your doors or not.

Bad comparison, people don't decompile your game's code to steal it but to learn from it or use it as help to make applicatons or websites such as DotaBuff.com etc but instead for Unreal games. It's also useful to take a look into cheats so you can write anti-cheats for it(or the opposite), or recover lost source code. There are a lot of reasons to decompile code other than stealing, besides stealing still requires you to have UnrealScript knowledge as you will have to adapt the code anyway for it to work.

i think theres a bit more to it than just replacing meshes, who cares really...
dont get your knickers in a twist about it, anything thats ever been written on any computer can be decompiled, thats what computers are like.
its all just 0's and 1's you know.

Thanks Teglec, this is really going to help me especially for stupid things like AI accuracy that I can't manage to make it work for weeks now

And this solve the lack of source code and snippets for UDK, especially when you don't want to make a UT-related game with big plasma gun and laser rifles.

If Kris would hurry up and put the the TFP demo source back up, you could look at that too.

    Damn him.
