Forum Issues.

Does anyone else get forum issues whilst using Google Chrome?

- Whenever i try to click 'save' on an edited post it'll take a long period of time to verify or to 'verify' at all.
- Whenever submitting a reply to a thread it will say something along the lines of 'Are you sure you want to leave this page? Leave this page, No, stay on this page'
- In order for a comment to go through i need to 'leave the page' however it will re-direct me to the 'you may only post once every X.. please wait X' then i can return to the thread to see my submitted reply.
- If i choose to stay the reply will not be submitted.


Any ideas? i've had this for a while now and it's starting to Rustle my Jimmies.

I get this constantly, but I've always attributed it to the forum, not Chrome.

Its happening to everyone. It happend all the time with me when I was on google chrome. I havent had any issues with Safari. I am going to ask Flak about it in a moment. It does this from time to time, possibly had a ton of users getting on because of the new play lists as far as tonights issues go.

These iissues have happened to me ever since the upgrade to VBulletin 4 back in September. I preferred VBulletin 3 and even the smilies on that looked better!

Its not even updating when threads are replied to. This one apparently has 0 replies.

Yeah I haven't got a single post update in the past 15 minutes. I've been having to look and see if a thread has new messages.

Been happening to me everyday for a few months. Always during the same time frame too.

It's not Firefox so like others said it's forum lag.

Sometimes that takes a few minutes to do, even when looking at recent posts sometimes those things take up to 30 minutes to update :\

Happens to all of us. Hit "Leave page." Also, if it takes a while to save an edit or post something, just hit it again. Works for me.

i am lol, it's just a major inconvenience as any discussions and such that are occuring become destroyed by double posts, excessive periods of time for replies and much more, i didnt have these problems before the update either, possibly just a traffic issue as stated, but at least we discovered it's not a browser issue.

It happens here to me also using Firefox. Never use IE (mostly dumb). I haven't working out with Chrome, Safari, Opera or Maxthon yet. Opening in new tabs can be cause the forums slow, IIRC. If you're on the internet cafe and/or if you're on Starbucks with Wi-Fi connection using netbook or laptop, and this is probably a task of being slow. Even if you have a Wi-Fi connection has to be stated with. OR maybe if you're on a video streaming sites (such as YouTube).

PS: Try these four (two optionals) if it works or not:
- Remove all cookies from your browser (stated login again at the forums).
- Clear all big sizes from your web cache.
- Optional: Turn off your cable modem or ADSL or broadband/Wi-Fi router and turn on again.
- Optional: Use CCleaner or other cleaning file software system to analyze and remove all unwanted files from your PC.

I sometimes have problem with searching on Epic games forum. When I click search it is loading page about 15 minutes and shows me database error. It is ten times faster to search it in google and go to some thread via google link. I use Firefox. Is it normal ? I recently use UDK forum (currently i am searing "rotation blending").
