Skinning Problem for FPS Udk skeleton.
Hi. I am currently creating a FPS. And i have run into a bit of a problem, when i tried to weight my arm mesh to the UDK skeleton. I could really use some help. Could someone perhaps provide a tutorial on how to get my custom arm meshes onto the UDK skeleton, /weighting. Im using 3ds max btw.
1. Scale your model to fit the arm bones.
2. Reset the models xform
3. Add a skin modifier
4. Add the bones
5. Animate the bones to see how the mesh is deforming
6. adust vertex bone influences to fix errors
Repeat 5 and 6 until happy
