I think EPIC should give this event another go, it was loved by an audience as well as hated by one, however every other event has made a re-appearance as far as i know apart from this one, it was like hardcore mode for gears which i and a large quantity also loved, you couldn't just charge in willy nilly and expect to dominate.
even if it's just for a weekend.. let it return.. even if it's tweaked a bit. :/ (probably the only event i miss)

Eh, Stay Frosty turned Gears into just about any other shooter. Bypassing DBNO is a bad idea in my opinion.

Exactly, but sawed-off and Gnasher bypass the DBNO, basically he's saying just because a rifle can do it during an event--doesn't make it any other shooter.

Regardless, we're talking about in the context of the event. The mechanics of that specific event (Stay Frosty) take away a lot of what makes Gears "Gears" (Such as DBNO, being able to take more than 4 bullets, not spawning with frags, headshots not instantly killing with pistols/rifles.) didn't they just do stay frosty again, a few weeks ago? Personally, I didn't like the event, way too campy. I wouldn't object if it came back, but I feel like we just had this playlist recently.
